Since 1980 three generations of Paliotti’s have been serving great food and large portions. It is a perfect place for any occasion.

Story

Paliotti’s Italian Restaurant in downtown Maple Ridge, has a roof shape similar to a circus tent. It was an old drive in burger joint when Joe Paliotti found it. It was converted into a sit down restaurant, but the roof was left the same.

This restaurant was very busy when we went, we had made reservations and expected it to good because of the amount of people where there . I ordered chicken Parmesan and it was actually very tasteless and soggy. My girlfriend ordered and got the wrong thing delivered, she then reordered and got the second thing delivered wrong as well but ate it because she was starving at this point. She felt it wasn't very good though either and didn't finish it. My first girlfriend's drink was undrinkable and she returned to get something else, it did taste better. We ordered calamari and it tasted like old bicycle tire tube. The server although mixing up our order was very pleasant but that didn't make up for the poor food quality and taste. If you are reading this review and read some of my other reviews you will notice that I do give good ratings where they are due. Five-star ratings are not that uncommon with me. This on the other hand was very disappointing. We would not ever go back to this restaurant or recommend it.

Service is never really that great and the pasta I got was covered in sauce, you couldn't even find the noodles it was practically soup!! People next to us complained because they had been waiting over an hour and a half for their food which they never ended up getting because they were going to be late for a show and the servers never gave them a discount or even apologized to them. So I never bothered to complain about how gross my pasta was (and I'm a pasta lover) just horrible service, if people ask me about this place i would tell them don't waste your time.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST DINING EXPERIENCE PERIOD fist when the waitress sat us at the table she didn't even smile, witch is fine, because everyone has bad days. Second when I looked on the table the glasses looked like they had been cleaned with a dirty mop so when the waitress came to pour us water, I informed her that the glasses were dirty, and she rolled her eyes and said" I'll get you clean ones" but she send another waitress with 4 glasses that were even dirtier then the ones she took away. Then they brought out a high chair covered with pasta sauce to the point that I touched it and I left a fingerprint in the grease., so my wife wiped it down with wet naps ... I ordered meaty rose for my pasta sauce and when the dish came she said that they accidently put it in the oven with cheese and she was wondering if it was ok, so I said yes that's no problem, when the dish came out it was just regular rose with no meat, so I asked my waitress and she was trying to convince me that they made a light meat sauce and that they had a new guy make there meat sauce this week which was BS because there was absolutely zero meat in the dish. When I go to a restaurant I pay for 50% service and 30% cleanliness and 20% food... and this place I was charged full price and got nine of those... Please do yourself a favor and stay out of this place. Your friends, and family will appreciate it.

Celebrated a birthday dinner here, everyone was so welcoming. The service was great, the food was great. Everyone at our table enjoyed it. The portion size is perfect, most of us had leftovers packed up. I would recommend to anyone looking for some italian. The rose sauce is incredible.

Horrible. My boyfriend use to order from this “restaurant” and get just a basic chicken breast (which came different everytime it was ordered) and roasted veggies. I thought I’d finally get something to try. I ordered Fettucine Alfredo with no chicken, we made that very clear. I haven’t ate meat in over 4 years for a good heath reason (allergies) and it came with chucks of gross soggy wet chicken. Needless to say I was hungry and pissed off. Both our drinks from the bar were very very watery and undrinkable. The service was weird to say the lest. Awkward and uncomfortable. We saw her later that night out at a bar and she came up to us and told my boyfriend that he was being very rude. We had made no conversation with her besides from us ordering. Very odd. I’ll definitely be making sure my boyfriend n I as well as his friends re think coming to this establishment. 10000 rotten tomatoes.
