I am posting this instead of having the dinner I was looking forward to - the food is just such a poor poor quality, the pics in the menu are beautiful and deceiving. What we have received was and is one of the worst sushi experiences I have had in my life here. This is so very bad, I want to send it back. Awful. I have never written a negative review but this is too upsetting. Update: my husband got sick a few hours after eating the food, he had tuna. Which was so awful looking. I have spoken to the manager Shane today and he asked me to send the photos of the food and to connect with the owner. He was polite, I would say and even kind of understood that my experience was upsetting. I have sent photos. The owner lady called me shortly and said that she checked the food and there was nothing wrong with food. When I told her that my experience was upsetting and that I don’t expect anything but I do want to be heard as a customer. She said: our food is not for you then! Your taste is not for our food! She raised her voice and insulted me and hang up on me. This is the owner of a restaurant talking to a customer, you guys!! Imagine that!! Phenomenally rude, disrespectful, aggressive and careless behaviour. This is very upsetting but also kind of ridiculous. No wonder your reviews are slow and will likely continue plummeting.
I ordered from door dash 1 California roll, 1 dynamite roll, 1 spicy salmon roll and the prawn tempura. My son ate before me and immediately vomited I thought he had put too big a piece in his mouth. I sat down to eat, put a piece of California roll in my mouth and immediately spat it out. It was bad! I called them and they said they had thrown out their bad filling that morning and nobody had complained and I said I was complaining. They said they couldn’t reimburse me because I had gone through door dash… I did call door dash and got my money back but that is not good customer service. You don’t serve someone bad sushi and then say you won’t make new food or help in anyway. Never again!!
Terrible. Don’t go here. The restaurant was cold! Had the a/c on I swear! Miso was old and lukewarm. Who likes lukewarm soup. Service stunk. Three tables only and still had to wait for service. In the lunch box, the fruit was sour grapefruit and the vegetable was tough rubbery edamame which was disgusting and couldn’t eat. The amount of chicken was four small rubbery pieces and cold. Disgusting
California roll was not good. They used rice as extenders instead of crab meat or immitation crabmeat. Also, so disappointed with the chicken karaage. We ordered chicken karaage but we got chicken wings instead. The wings were so small like the size of a thumb. so disappointed. We will not order from here again. I should have read the review first before ordering there.
Horrible. Second time my order was wrong. Asked for no sauce and got sauce. Also missing salmon in my roll. Also got a fish scale in one of my rolls. The hank roll was so messy, squished and looked horrible

We got the wrong item ,ordered yam roll got crunch yam roll, when I told them we had got the wrong order , they said the new girl got it wrong. I told them 3 plus times it was wrong, they said it was wrong,and then charged me full price for the correct order, the mistake is theirs not mine I should have been offered my money back. Very disappointed
They gave me the wrong order and I took it back the next day untouched they were closed by the time I got home and opened it and I still wanted sushi for dinner since I din't eat the wrong order that night. No refund, no replacement roll. I was charged full price for both rolls even though they gave me the wrong order and I payed for it and brought it back and showed the mistake. Back to sushiro I guess.
Ordered off door dash and have never tried this place prior to ordering. It was the worst sushi I have ever had, I will not eat from here again.
I dont usually do this at all cause i know the restaurant industry is a busy and sometimes chaotic place, i went to hamada sushi with someone who talked highly of it, said it had amazing food, when we ordered food we ordered an appetizer, and 2 main courses, we got our main courses before our appetizer it came at the very end and it was a small dish and yet our main food came first, and our food we ordered wasnt what we asked for, at that point i didnt even want to bring anything up because no one was doing anything right, i asked to get it remade and put in a to go box and it was given in another bowl no issue there but then took another 20 minutes to get us a bill and box, was t even hungry anymore i was just beyond frustrated paying 60$ for the worst service ive ever had. Great people, just not on the ball.
