Big Smoke BBQ and Alehouse

Went in for the $5 burger deal and it was awesome. I had the 5 cheese burger and it was really great - you could taste the different cheeses, but it wasn't overwhelmingly cheesy! The Mac and Cheese side was also fantastic. Definitely a good spot to eat. 👍

First impression was great! This restaurant has it all, a real man's hangout (of course women aswell). The menu is huge, and the restaurant itself is actually quite large on the inside. The service was really good! The atmosphere was awesome, and the food tasted amazing. 👌👌

The staff was nice although not the quickest, and this place is really good value for kids (kids eat free Mon-Wed as of writing this), but I'm knocking off a star as the BBQ sauce wasn't amazing for my palette and there was some dry meat on our platter for 2 ($47 and it was more than enough for my wife and I, we have average appetites. Also FWIW she didn't think it was dry and enjoyed the sauce more). The happy hour beers were cold and big... the red house wine was fine for the price... I'd be willing to give it another try. The garlic fries were really good and the brisket was super tasty (IF they have some left, call ahead if you want it).

Food was good, atmosphere was good, service was good. Beer selection is impressive, but would have been great to see more local breweries. There are 2 within only a few blocks of this location but neither of them had beers on the menu. Brisket was amazing! Wings were a little overpriced ($11 for 4 full wings). I'm sure we will be back, they do kids eat free Monday-Wednesday too!
