Pyrgos Taverna

I always seem to feel cheated when I dine here. It's a cute little restaurant but honestly I feel like they're really cheap when it comes to serving us. When you're charging $30 plus for a dinner I shouldn't have to ask 3 times for taziki sauce. It never seems to just be standard with our meal. They give us Pita bread and we have to eat it dry? When they finally come around with the sauce it's a tiny little one tablespoon portion. They also have a very outdated billing system so they write down the receipt for us and it's always incorrect. They seem to like to make up prices along the way. Adding one to $2 wherever they feel fit. I don't know why their menu prices are different than what we're being charged. Overall the food is all right. Their lamb chops are delicious. I had the dry ribs they were OK I felt like they could have been day old. My daughter had the steak and she said it was bland and tasted like somebody rinsed it off and stuck it on her plate. She also only got 1 potato compared to the rest of us. Overall I think I'm done with this restaurant.

We had family dinner for dad’s birthday. Everyone are so friendly and kind always!: We always get appetizers platter 1, Saganaki. Appetizers platters are always great since it has so much variety. Best greek restaurant in town.

A real hidden gem! You get what you paid $$ for. I order a combo. Lamb is juicy. Chicken is a bit dry but flavorful. The burger is soft and tasty. Not a fan of the bread. Salad is made right. The rice is nicely seasoned. Thanks for the food.

Very friendly staff with very high quality food. I ordered a combo #1, and it came out with a very generous plate of lamb, rice, chicken, Greek salad, dolmades, and more. A perfectly large portion for 2 people. Flavours were very good, and interior atmosphere is also awesome. I would absolutely recommend a trip here.

Exceptional service and experience overall. The food was delicious and the servings are very good as well. We were celebrating a birthday and were a big party, but they managed to give us the best service we could hope for. Definitely recommend this place for a quick meal, a dinner date, family event or just to hang out with your friends as well.

It was so good!!! Definitely the best Cesar salad and calamari we’ve had in a while. Our waitress was lovely. Big restaurant and very festive. I imagine without Covid it would be packed!! We will definitely make the drive out again!

After living in Maple Ridge for two years, I can easily say that Pyrgos is my favorite restaurant in town. I'm always so excited to go to Pyrgos for dinner, the food is so delicious, the prices are reasonable, and I love that the restaurant is family owned and operated. Our favorite meal is the combo platter, it's under $60 and it could easily feed 3 people. It has a good variety of authentic Greek food and we have tried items on the platter we would have never ordered otherwise. Pyrgos has a quaint and cozy atmosphere and I recommend the place to all of our friends!

I was so happily surprised by this little hidden gem in Maple Ridge. Probably the best Saganaki since Montreal. The lamb was also marinated to perfection. A must try place.

Server was unfriendly, didn't bring tzatziki for dinner until we had nearly finished eating, took about 35+ minutes after we asked for the bill at the end. We were the first table to sit down at 4:30 so it wasn't busy when we arrived. Very disappointed I suggested going here.
