Oshawa Zoo

We came here for Mother’s Day and we had a great time. They accept debit at admission and there’s cash back as well. I recommend bringing cash if you want to participate in pony rides and eat from the food stand they have there. Lots of picnic tables so you can bring your own food as well. Lots of animals to see and you get s bucket of popcorn to feed them as well as some raisins for the lemurs. If you go on their website they have a free admission for 1 child! Staff was very friendly and place was well cared for.

It's one of a kind zoo very close to GTA. Kids get the rare opportunity to feed farm animals. Lot of free space for all the animals and birds. Very friendly staff. Will definitely go back in a couple of months.

Fun with lots of animals, many of which you can feed, with food they sell there at a low cost. The baby farm animals, especially goats, are especially adorable and like to interact. Great place to take children. They have a plan where you can pay a bit more and come back multiple times the same year.

I have been to this Zoo a few times and it was nice but I went today Thursday May 24 th at around noon and 2 of the workers where re-filling the popcorn kernal machines that you feed the animals thats when I saw 1 of the girls spit in the llamas face but I also saw a sheep with and injured leg and pigs in the heat with no water.

Great for kids. Interactive with animals. Easy to get to. Free parking.
