Beautiful urban park. Just wear light colours so you can spot the ticks. I wouldn't walk my dog here. It must be the proximity to the zoo and the abundance of deer and other wildlife but there are a lot of ticks.

Beautiful place to escape the city without having to travel too far. Great in all seasons too. There are a number of trails to do, a lot of which can be done in a day. Friendly and helpful staff at the visitor centre. If you can, recommend that you take Parkbus from downtown Toronto to get there.

Amazing and scenic views of the natural beauty that is Ontario. The trail is very close to the Toronto Zoo and is located in the country side area of Scarborough. Ultimately, this place is perfect in the Summer and Fall/Autumn seasons due to the warm weather or the changing colours of the trees, shrubs and plant life surrounding this gorgeous gem. Perfect for short strolls with the family to a long walk for dates with a significant other. During the day it can get a bit busy and hard to find a good parking spot. I would not suggest going during G the night time unless you are very familiar with the area and the trails.

Located adjacent to Toronto Zoo, Rouge National Park presents a rich assembly of natural, cultural and agricultural landscapes right in the city. Hikers can enjoy the autumn colors by going onto Vista Trail, which also has a two-level viewing platform that offers some of the most spectacular valley views. Park volunteers offer guided walks and tell visitors about the Park’s culture and biodiversity. To learn more about the guided walks schedule visit Parks Canada official website. Tere are 8 trails for visitors to enjoy the nature in Rouge Park, so during each visit you can choose a different adventure.
