It's honestly been a long time since I've been and was very pleased with the place. They introduced a new walk way and are currently working on improving the place. Went during Christmas and found the zoo easy to walk and get around. A lot of exhibits were accessible and inside. Animals were active and staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend anyone to go with family or friends.
Huge zoo, wild variety of animals! The zoo has huge area, so you might consider visiting early in the morning to have plenty of time for yourself to explore all areas. There also are a couple of gift shops that have good souvenirs for your friends and family.
We went at Feb. Although it is winter time, we were happy to see lots of animals. It was not crowded and less noisy. We got chance to see zoo staff performed ultrasound on a pregnant white-face Saki. Zoo staff and voluteers are very dedicated and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our visit very much.
I recently visited the Toronto Zoo, and it was a fantastic experience! The zoo is massive and offers an incredible variety of animals from all around the world, which makes it a perfect destination for families, couples, or anyone who loves wildlife.nnThe animal enclosures are well-maintained and designed to mimic natural habitats, providing a great learning opportunity while ensuring the animals are comfortable. My personal favorites were the pandas and the giraffes, but every section—from the African Savannah to the Indo-Malaya Pavilion—had something unique to offer.nnThe zoo is very family-friendly, with plenty of amenities like clean washrooms, stroller rentals, and interactive zones for kids. The Keeper Talks were educational and engaging, adding a personal touch to the visit.nnThere are several food options on-site, ranging from quick bites to sit-down meals, though the prices are a bit on the higher side as expected at such venues. Bringing your own snacks and a water bottle is a good idea, especially since there are refill stations throughout the park.nnA word of advice: wear comfortable shoes because there’s a lot of walking involved! The zoo is massive, and you’ll want to explore as much as possible.nnOverall, the Toronto Zoo is a must-visit destination in the city. It’s a fun and educational experience for all ages, and the staff clearly care about the animals and conservation efforts. I’ll definitely be returning!
Worth every penny!nWe bought the tickets in advance, and it was cheaper than at the gate. Also, the day we choose was excellent: everybody was on vacation and we were alone at the zoo. People started to arrive at noon, so I suggest you arrive early to get better views of the animals.nBring your wagon or stroller if you have little kids, because the place is enormous and you need to walk a lot.nDon’t forget to bring along some munchies and candies; they will help keep your little ones energized and in a good mood.nThis place is in prime condition, with many washrooms and drinking fountains available for free bottle refills, restaurants and ice cream carts.nIf you're considering a summer trip there, remember to pack your sunscreen and insect repellent.nLast but not least, it's essential to put on your most comfortable footwear.
