Nice place to bring family and enjoy seeing wild animals like lions, zebras, giraffes, monkeys, elephants, eagles and many more. They also have fun shows with birds and the elephants. There's elephant rides too and boat rides, just so much fun activities you could spend the whole day with your family. You can drive your own car in the wild animals area. Spacious food court with plenty of food to choices. The bird shows are awesome, I was especially thrilled at having a nice picture of the eagle as it took off very close to where we stayed. It was also lovely seeing baboons, a caring mother getting on top of the SUV carrying her small baby safely. I strongly recommend this place for a family visit, kids would especially enjoy seeing birds and animals. Happy trip!

Great experience with the kids. Its a big park so be prepared to trek it out. Bring lots of water. Kids really liked it. The gift shop (in my personal opinion) was a bit weak overall and bit gimmicky. My son did find a snake he really liked. Glad they keep this place around. Cant wait to go back

They removed some of the exhibits that I loved growing up so I was a bit disappointed. Bears and tigers are missing. The splash park was amazing and made up for that. Even my boyfriend and I enjoyed it with the kids. So the actual driving safari is pretty quick but the walking and other attractions are pretty cool. Quite a few animal shows that were very informative and educational. You can ride elephants, where the trainer stops the elephant so a friend or family member can take a photo. Lots of birds on display. Food pricing is actually pretty reasonable. Overall a great experience.

Although I grew up only a few hours from this place, I hadn't visited until recently with my own kids. I was really blown away by this place. Although the signage and facilities are getting a bit dated it was a great place and well worth the money. We opted for the bus tour instead of our car which was great. The tour guides are nice and knowledgeable. You see a ton of animals both in the "zoo" like area and on the driving tour. I found it really made a difference to see the animals out in open spaces as compared to a smaller cage at a zoo. We happened to visit on the last weekend of the season so it wasn't busy at all. We didn't have to wait in any lines but I can image it's quite a bit busier during peak summer time. We didn't do the boat tours so I can't comment on that. The food was ok, but it seemed pretty shut down because of the time of year. The highlight of the day was watching the elephants go for a swim. We were in our car ready to go when they started walking across the parking lot. We got out and watched them get into the lake. It was incredible to watch them run into the water, swim and splash. I definitely recommend waiting for this event each day! Overall I would highly recommend African Lion Safari for families, individuals and groups. Well worth the drive and price!
