Riverview Park and Zoo is a unique, recreational facility offering attractions to people of all ages. Located just north of downtown Peterborough, Riverview Park and Zoo is a fabulous place to enjoy a leisurely stroll in a peaceful and tranquil setting while experiencing the natural beauty of Peterborough.

Its free! Free admission, free parking! Great for the kids. (Or just go for a walk around with a date) Three beautiful play grounds and a nice little splash pad area. Theres a snack bar as well with a little lunch area. Well maintained. The washrooms are kept clean and updated.

This is a great little place. The animals are limited, but considering that the zoo is free that can be excused, and the ones they have are nicely displayed and always seem happy. They have a huge playground with an awesome giant slide that goes down a big hill. There is also a splash pad and a mini train (seasonal and $2 per ride). Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

I am so amazed and impressed with the Riverside Zoo, The Zoo is open, it's clean and the exhibits well kept alongside with the animals, even with this weather I was able to stroll around and get a great view of a lot of the animals!And Best of all,😀Free Parking and Free Admittance! I also used the bathroom facilities and the man's washroom was clean, well heated and inviting! I can't wait to come in the Summer and bring my nephews!

Great place for kids to play and learn about lots of animals for FREE! Animals include: Monkeys, Otters, Camels, Deer, Snakes, Lemurs and many more. There is a (seasonal) snack/lunch stand, washrooms, and splash pad in the summer. Open year round, a staple for locals and travelers entertain kids without cost for admission.

One of Peterborough's great treasures. A very well kept zoo and large playground in a great location on the river. Best of all...free admission!
