Orleans Martial Arts Kung-Fu Patenaude

I joined in February this year, and I love it. Sifu Stéphane and the team of instructors are excellent, and they really care about how you do. Going to any martial arts centre can feel intimidating, but this place is anything but. Nothing but positive energy and encouraging, friendly people that really gets you motivated. I'm more confident, stronger, and fully committed to becoming a better student. Martial arts can change your life, and I'm really thankful for finding this place. You won't regret coming here.

Open and friendly atmosphere. Sifu has a great way with the kids. Happy to have my daughter here twice a week for classes. Highly recommend anyone of any age to give it a try. Great way to socialize and learn some self confidence.

We've been coming here since 2012 and it's been a great experience. Our kids love their instructors and learning kung-fu. All of the instructors are amazing and are great with kids. The facilities are clean and provide a great learning atmosphere. We look forward to coming here for many more years to come.

i have attempted many times in my life to go to the gym and get in shape. usually it ends up in getting bored or no longer motivated to do anything. Not when I joined Patenaude! Wow what a difference! After 5 months I am still enjoying it and love going to the classes. It is a friendly atmosphere and all the instructors are there to help but also the other people that come and work out, it really is a family feel. Everyone pushes you to go one step further and not give up, it is all about pushing yourself another step and getting better and in better shape each time. They have great 30 minute classes where it is more about conditioning and than you also have the classes where you learn more about the kickboxing. They have other martial arts classes as well but I do not participate in these. For me it is about getting in shape and loosing wait. And it works, after 3 months I lost 12 pounds and I feel great. and at 47 it gets harder to loose weight but this really works. Of course it is also about eating healthier but the exercise is the number one contributor! They also have classes for kids where they also learn discipline. It is great to watch these kids, i hope my son will be going in the next year or so! Overall amazing! I look forward to many more classes!

I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND AND I'LL TELL YOU WHY. Patenaude Martial Arts Studio is definitely the right place for anyone of any age and of any level of experience (even zero experience). The students in PMA are dynamic and very friendly. Speaking of experience, I tend to be hesitant to ask for help when i'm struggling but here, class partners, teachers, and Sifu Stephane are always there to help properly execute a technique and explain why we do or not do things in certain ways. It's not exclusive to physical training but also spiritual/mental training. There are days where we tend to learn more about breathing properly, relaxing your body and mind, and learn how to calm yourself during a stressful situation (in a fight, for example). When I joined, I was thinking this is just going to be a hobby but it turns out, my heart is actually calling it as an essential part of my lifestyle.
