Story

The physiological theory behind Orangetheory is known as excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC). During the course of a session, you will perform focused 10-30 minute intervals that use your entire body and stimulate your metabolism. After each exercise, you will feel increased energy. After the session, your body will continue to burn more calories as it tries to recover from the strong bursts of activity.

It was tailored to my level of fitness, and my desired level of intensity. I had a great work out but wasn't stressed about keeping up with the rest of the class. The instructor was highly motivating and cared that everyone had a proper work out. The staff was friendly, helpful, and full of bright advice.

I love that the one hour workouts are challenging and use different pieces of equipment during the floor sessions for resistance training. The instructors are on point with motivating and technical cues! I also like that the studio is kept clean. Each class brings new physical challenges and it sometimes is a good thing when you don't know what to expect.

The routines are challenging but fun. coaches and staff are very friendly and they push you to get the most out of your work out. The fact that there is different routine everyday is the main reason to make me go back. Not as often as I would love though, it's a little bit expensive but it is the best money I've ever spent on gym membership.

It's unique, energetic, and definitely motivating! Something different to stand out from the rest, and I love that each workout is contrastive so your body is not bored or used to the workouts if you're a regular member. These are the only classes I can keep up with and feel good about, unlike aerobics where I'm lost, missing the steps, and not getting a chance to raise my heart rate because I'm so focused on getting the steps right!I've been looking for a gym that I know I can count on to help me with my fitness goals, and still be fun! OTF is definitely the gym for me. I'm glad I kept on with my search because it was worth the wait.
