I always enjoy the food and drinks when I'm visiting On The Rocks. watched the hockey game there on a regular basis and good drinks specials during the game as well as monthly drink specials. Also this place usually attracts a 30s up crowd so if you don't like to drink and flirt with the kids then this will be a good place to check out.  Weekends normally have bandstand are usually fairly easy listening bands that anyone can appreciate.

Came early tonight 7:50pm to listen to the great band at 10pm. Drinks are normal bar prices, food is decent. We were not aware that tables get moved before the 10pm show and upon moving of the tables our view was blocked. My friends spoke with the manager who got us a different table. So yes he "fixed" the issue but his lack of professionalism showed his true lack of interpersonal skills. I came back to the table at the end of the conversation to over hear him say to my friends "you were using a tone and I was just speaking to you in the tone you were using. But it doesn't matter now does it, because I fixed your problem." 
WOW! !! This coming from a "manager" is quite shocking. Now I didn't hear the rest of the conversation but just that small part is enough to have me not recommend this bar for fundraising events.

Surprisingly good food for a pub. Friendly, long term staff. Off the hook specials. Build your own hotdog Mondays, $2Taco Tuesday. I'm a regular, for good reason. My favorite spot to start or end a downtown tour (because of location).

Had a few drinks in the afternoon, very relaxed atmosphere and not to busy. Katanya was my server and she was awesome. Friendly and attentive.

Always have a good time here and great food! Awesome bands and live entertainment. Highly recommended
