Avenue Downtown

The absolute worst experience on Jasper Ave. Way better places to invest your money. The owner Jamie, and the bouncers are extremely unproffesional. The bouncers are rude and violent. The night I was there a young crowd was kicked out brutally. I witnessed a bouncer assault a young woman. I"m surprised the venue is not being sued for using unreasonable force on women as well as the other men. Avenue was one of my favourite places to have a good time. After witnessing this sort of thing being allowed, I will not be coming again and definitely do not recommend coming here. Absolute trash. 0 stars.

Amazing place!! The drinks are great and so is the music. I 100% recommend this place. All the workers are so polite especially the bouncers!! One of the best bars I’ve ever been too :)

Actually used to really like this place until my buddy showed me a video of a fight that took place there last weekend. One bouncer was fighting a girl and the rest of them were attacking a group of younger boys. Throwing people on the street and kicking them in the face.... pretty scary. Don’t go here unless you know the bouncers.
