Story

Evolution Wonderlounge exploded onto the Edmonton scene in September of 2013 to bring a bit of Vegas meets Circus to the Edmonton gay nightlife.

Evolution is not just a dance club and lounge, it's a way of thinking... we believe in this city and our community and are eager to make our mark on it. Our team brings experience and enthusiasm and fresh ideas, and we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service.

I was there for Pride.... who was the DJ? Music was awful. The DJ was a selfish, egotistical, presumptuous and inconsiderate towards the patrons. He didn't accept requests and he spent all night playing his own little disgusting techno music. My friend approached him to suggest a song... The DJ pretended he didn't hear us. We continued asking for a song and he just GAVE US THE FINGER, not before trying to suffocate us with the white smoke device. He inundated the dance floor with the white smoke knowing that the device was aiming towards where we were. Pride at the gay bar will me immemorable in a bad way thanks to another ignorant, inconsiderate, belligerent DJ. I wished Arrow Chaser would have been the bar's choice instead....SAD :(

My favorite place to go on Friday or Saturday nights. Great drag shows, great crowd. I find the staff friendly and welcoming. Other patrons are also out for a good time and that adds up to a fine night of mingling, socialising and other sheninigans 😜. I didn't give a 5 star rating because this place gets really warm with all the bodies dancing. They really need to invest in an effective cooling system.

There's a group of backstabbing people that hang out there. Not nice at all.They have no debt system at the bars ( tax fraud ya know). And the bathrooms are always broken and dirty.
