I came here for my birthday once, I had an awesome time! My group and I were brought in without waiting, the door staff was courteous and respectful. Service was prompt and we enjoyed our drinks. The music was great during the night and it was extremely busy. At the end, a doorman hailed a cab for us to make sure we got home safely. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good time!

I haven't been out in quiet a long time. There was the most amazing bouncer there and she made sure I had an absolutely amazing time. Everyone was friendly from the bartenders to the lovely people operating the bull which was sooo much fun. Thank you everyone especially the lovely amazing lady at the door who made my night out an amazing experience! Good drinks and a great choice of music! Loved my experience!

Last time I went there I got in without waiting. Drinks were fantastic, music was great, and security is always prompt. My favourite part is when I go to the smoke pit. The regular security person out there always keeps it safe and there's always a good time outside. I watched 2 guys in what first appeared like they were about to start a fight, but they just started dancing! I would 100% recommend anyone to go to Knoxville's tavern.

I went there last night for my friends birthday, and I must say, that it has really gone down hill since it opened. I used to love going there to dance with friends and I always had a great time, but last night I was beyond annoyed with not only how busy it got Do the bouncers not keep a count of the people coming in and out? but also with the fact that this is a "supposed" country bar... Maybe someone should tell the DJ. I arrived at 10 and stayed till 2 and I heard maybe a total of 20 country songs. Why call yourself a country bar if all you ever play is house and techno music? The DJ was incredibly rude and wouldn't take any requests [It's a bar dude, not your live show... people pay the establishment to dance and have a good time, not to hear you mix beats all night]. Coat check is a huge joke there and I stopped using it all together after the last couple times when I had nothing but trouble with them.  Over all, the set up and the establishment itself, is very well put together. I think the management just needs to hire better staff and decide what kind of bar he/she actually wants to run. This place could be great, and it used to be, but unfortunately it's no longer a good time. I can say that maybe 10/1000 people there even knew what 2 steppin' is.

This is my go-to place if I'm going out and want an awesome time! Although the line can sometimes get long its 100% worth the wait and just goes to show how loved this place is by people in Edmonton. The security is always respectful and does their best to respond to any emergencies that arise, to keep us party-goers safe. The music keeps the packed dance floor going all night long and the bartenders do a great job of serving everyone quickly and efficiently. Have been going here for a while and plan on continuing to do so without fail.

Dropped by about a week ago, ended up being a little late out of my group of friends so to supplement I started hitting the drinks pretty hard. Bartender let me know that I had about 15 minutes to enjoy their $2.75 hiballs as that special ended at 11 and, a few doubles later, I was feeling pretty good. Line up went by quickly, made it in without having to pay cover. Not much of a fan of country music but the DJ kept things fresh by mixing things up. Bartenders looked like they were having fun. Spraying each other with what I believe to be water and I think a couple of them were in some sort of ice war. Atmosphere was great and to top it all off, went next door and had some much needed poutine after the club closed for the night. Overall great night. I don't party on Jasper Ave very much, but when I do, it's pretty much Knoxville's.

I went to Knoxville's a few weeks back and actually had a really great time , now mind you I'm not big on country but they played a great mix of top 40 so you don't really notice . As for the bartenders they were fantastic I mean they almost had me speaking Spanish by the end of the night lol. Just so friendly and had great drink suggestions.The security team was pretty cool as well special thanks to the blonde lady that checked up on me. She got me some much needed water by the end of the night . All in all just really had a good time and wanted to take a second to give this review.

I've never had a bad time here! The music is fire, the atmosphere is electric, and the service I've received is above all the other club/bars in Edmonton! I would highly recommend for anyone looking to dance and party with friends!

Showed up with a bunch of friends didnt know what to expect after hearing mixed reviews. Got to meet sone of the staff who are very friendly and helpful. Very impressed with the promotion staff who helped us organize future events that we will be holding there. Dj was absolutely amazing as he was able to sit joke around and have a sense of humor unlike most djs ive met who are full of themselves. Security was very professional while dealing with aggressive drunk people. Bartenders were polite and arent half bad looking either. With the exception of the tall dark haired male who looks like he never does leg day at the gym. Lol. But in all honesty ive been to alot of bars around Canada and this is one of the top ones entertainment and staff wise.

We used to go quite often but since they changed the rules so that you can't come back after going outside it's just lame. I'm not sure but maybe someone OD'd there to make them turn it into such a boring and strict place.  The smoke area they made in the alley had drunks fighting in it and I missed the adventure of meeting people wandering by out front.  The DJ is meh. He likes to play a Green Day song which is really out of place and generally ruins the flow by genre jumping. It wasn't a big deal cause we'd head to Studio 107 when he started that but can't do that anymore. The bartenders are ok. Nothing special.  I still gave 3 stars cause Knox used to be great. Security all seem pretty cool. Oh and the shooter girl took her shooter tray into the toilet with her. Don't ever buy those things.
