All services are free of charge to those in need: food pantry, clothing closet, youth programs, school supply and coat giveaways, holiday adoption programs
All programs and services are delivered directly to our customers (free of charge) and provide services to over 55,000 people each year. The Clothing Closet distributes free and reduced-price clothing and household items. The Emergency Food Pantry provides food supplies to those who meet income guidelines. Youth Programs are offered for children ages 5-13; after school and full day in the summer. Community Gardens onsite grow seasonal produce to feed the hungry and plots for family gardening. A Parish Nurse is onsite and offers support for customer health, counseling, and spiritual needs. An Annual Block Party celebrates community and family oriented participation to people of all ages. Coats for Kids distributes winter apparel for children and adults. Holiday Adoption Programs match family needs with sponsors for Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. SNAP (food stamp) sign-up is available onsite during open hours through a trained volunteer. SHARE/Iowa - the mission is a sign-up site for SHARE/Iowa which is a program that offers food products at a reduced cost and can be paid for with food stamps.
