Story

NewBo City Market is a nonprofit organization showcasing our community's assets, inspiration, and potential by cultivating new business and entrepreneurship and by supporting local artists and artisans. We are a public space promoting health, happiness, and well-being.

NewBo City Market is first and foremost a meeting place, a public space that provides the opportunity for people to encounter one another in an informal setting. A center for social interaction, the Market serves the dual purpose of generating traffic and providing a “town center” where people can meet, greet and, of course, eat.

Featuring a carefully crafted and eclectic mix of dining, shopping, entertainment and attractions in a unique warehouse setting, the City Market links visitors to a variety of wares from local growers, artists, artisans and businesses. Produce, specialty foods, meats and seafood, flowers, clothing and home accessories are offered. Music, art, cooking demonstrations and other events, combine with food from some of the areas best restaurants to provide a new and much needed destination for the area.
