UPDATE: This place is under new ownership. “A2 Asia” or something stupid like that. I went here Christmas Eve 2017 and waited 45minutes for my $35 order. No apologies for the wait, nothing offered for me having to wait that long. And it gets better. They stapled the bag so I didn’t even think to double check my order. Got home and literally received nothing that I ordered. No shrimp fried rice, No orange chicken, I got chicken broccoli instead of beef. I asked for no onions in the fried rice, which was LOADED with onions. I had one container of what I thought was noodles, but no, it was 100% literally just a container of onions and chicken. It was like 2 pounds of onions and just the worst chicken ever. Seriously who orders a container full of onions and chicken? I’m pretty sure they did that to piss me off. Guys, I’m telling you, I don’t have high standards for a Chinese restaurant like this but this place USED to be awesome! And it’s now the single worst Chinese resturant in all of America. Everything was terrible. If it wasn’t Christmas Eve I would have gone back and demanded my money back. I even tipped them too and didn’t even get a thank you! No my thank you was actually a “f**k you” delivered in the form of a container full of onions and freezer burnt chicken. I hope these guys go out of business soon. ————————————————————— Previous: (when it was East China Buffet) 5 Stars This place has be the original "okay five minute!" Since I was in middle school back in 2002. The owner still remembers me from back then even tho I live on the other side of town and rarely get to eat here. The food is just good old American style Chinese cuisine but they just do it better than all the others. The best in Cedar Rapids for fast Chinese! Long live East China Buffet!

New ownership and it's not going well. I got the chicken and vegetables and the vegetables were over cooked and also quite sparse. Worst of all, he did not have the potstickers I ordered so he went out, got some and made them. I sat there for 30 minutes while all this went on. He did NOT explain the difficulty to me and give me the choice - to wait or not. This is extremely bad customer service. The overall food quality went way downhill.

When it was East China Buffet the egg roll was the best. Now it has a after taste that's gross and only 2 shrimp in them. Shrimp tast like a mouth full of grease sitting in grease ...just a waste of money. And all they had to say is throw it away.sad sad sad smh. Never eat there again

Amazing food, fast delivery and friendly service. The food was delicious, and the helpings were large. We will definitely order from there again.

New owners really amazing food, better than previous owner. They are quick! the meat doesnt leave you guessing what it is you know beef is beef and chicken is chicken. Great customer service! I enjoyed it so much ill be going the next 3 days till I move to the other side of town but ill still be back to grab food!
