Nufloors Coquitlam (Lougheed Flooring Centre) is family owned and operated and has been in its current location since 1986. Our business has grown substantially in the past 30 years, and we pride ourselves in being proficient in all aspects of flooring, from residential to commercial, to massive high rise projects. I have visited Nufloors on two occasions (6 to 12 months ago and about 2 weeks ago) with the sincere intentions of purchasing tile and having it installed in the outdoor entrance way to our home. On both occasions, I dealt with salesman, Al Dick. Each time, he approached us as we entered the tile section of the store. He told us what to look for in regard to tiles that can be installed outdoors. On the first occasion, he did not come back and checked in with me and I left the store with no information. On the second occasion, there were no other customers in the tile area of the store. After 10 to 15 minutes, he asked across the floor if we were doing okay. Of course, we needed more information! He came over and answered some of our questions. However, he showed little interest or enthusiasm in our project. Honestly, he made it sound like the job would be too difficult and expensive. Since ours is an outdoor job, he told us that an installer would need to come to our home to see exactly what needs to be done and give us an estimate. However, rather than simply booking an appointment, he stated that the installers are very busy at this time. Not being in a huge hurry, we asked what kind of timeline we were looking at? He was unable to give use any timeline, but told us he would discuss our situation with an installer and get back to us. A couple days later, Al called and left a voice message mid-day on a Monday. Naturally, we were both at work at the time. When my husband called him back the next day, he stated that he and an installer had had the time to come out on the Monday when he called. He did not offer to set an appointment and basically left it that he would call again when they could come out. It is 2 weeks later and we have heard nothing back from Al and honestly don't ever expect to. Al has definitely lost the company a sale. He shows no interests or initiative as a salesman. I have since talked with a friend person who had a similar experience at this store. Al is losing business for this store. I have since gone to another tile store in the area, where I was met by an enthusiastic, engaging salesman who has gotten our business. I will not be returning to Nufloors or recommending it to anyone. Too bad, as I heard from someone else that they were very happy with the service. They obviously did not deal with Al.

By far the best service and pricing on your flooring and Cypris is an amazing person to deal with. They have great quality products and the staff help to make any project a bit easier! Well done!

Horrible. Let's start with that. Was in need of some moldings to finish a flooring job I did myself. Spoke to Scott in sales who was great, and super helpful, suggesting I come in to talk through it and get the color matched. Did so, but dealt with Al, who said that he would need some time to look into getting a match. Left my contact details, a sample of my flooring and gave the particulars of the manufacturer and color etc. Fast forward a week and I call Al to see if he has made any progress on it, which he has not. He looks it up again and says he will have it in the store in a few days. Good, right? Wrong. Fast forward another three weeks with no returned call, so I call in again today to see whats going on, give the entire story again and find that again, nothing has been done. Politely told him not to bother ordering it this time. I live within 5 minutes so I wanted to spend my dollars locally. I get that it was a small purchase, but good customer service drives repeat business and customer loyalty. In this case, I was hugely disappointed. I'm going to take my business elsewhere, and would never recommend Nufloors to any of my friends who also own homes in the Coquitlam area.

I had a great experience at nufloors. I purchased vinyl plank tiles for Toryls for my new townhouse. Cypris gave us a great recommendation and was helpful throughout the whole process. We had Peter and Benny as our installers they were wonderful and professional. I couldn’t be happier with how my floor looks.

We have kitchen floor installation done by Nufloor was excellent. But when we replace new basement floor also done by Nufloor it turn to terrible experience by only finished 3 weeks the floor bounce up. And we believe two different sub-contractors. We think it will be got flat eventually, but result turn out more worst. We try to ask Nufloor to deal with it and got the answer is your basement too moisture. The thing is our old basement floor was perfectly in 17 years never have any problem until Nuflloor re-do it. Very disappointed for can't get their good customer service to fix the problem they made.
