Looking for a new quality BBQ, I did some searches on local Weber dealers. The BBQ Shop came up and was close. I wanted to deal with a BBQ specific dealer and not the big box outlets. That was a mistake. At this time, their google page business front picture shows a nice building that looks professional. Don't look for that building like I did when going to the listed address. Must be an old location photo. Instead look for a glass door that leads you down some stairs into the dingy basement of a strip mall. I spent time looking at a few BBQ's and narrowed it down to a specific model. Spoke to 2 different staff about the model and price that was affixed to the BBQ. Later that day I returned with my family to see what they thought and buy it. When I told the salesperson we would take it I was told we would have to pay now, and then drive to some other warehouse location to pick it up. They don't tell you that part until you say you'll buy it. Uneasy about the pay here, go there scenario, I still decide to buy. Standing at the counter about to pay and ooh no, "we made a mistake and the BBQ is $100 more than the sign says". I tell them that's not my problem as the salesmen stated the same price the sign listing that bbq model said and they should honour it. The manager behind the counter said "no, we won't do that". I responded that most ethical businesses would work to come to an agreement so they maintain the customer and accept some responsibility for the error they made. I then offered to meet in the middle and pay an additional $50. Again the manager said "no we will not sell it for that". Rather than selling for less profit and keeping a new customer (were talking +-$50 on his end) he chose to let us walk. I would encourage anyone looking at higher end BBQ's to keep that in mind if they consider buying from this business. As others have reviewed, prices change after purchase agreements have been made, you can expect to be asked for your credit card if you call in with a question (owner condoned practice in google response to that user) and reviewers either have a fabulous experience or a completely terrible one. Spin the wheel and see where it lands for you. I won't be back.

haven't purchased yet as I live out of town. phoned in for some help and the person I spoke with, possibly Nash, was excellent to deal with. Provided me with lots of background and when he found out I didn't live here, he suggested another option where the price would be similar. Made me want to purchase it from them even though I'm not close by.

It shouldn't really be a surprise to anyone that this particular BBQ Shop has an appalling customer service, just take a look at the current reviews... I came in the store earlier in the week to pick out a BBQ for my father, I spoke to TWO employees about a demo Napoleon Grill they had on the floor and told them that if it's still available during the weekend, I will definitely pick it up. I called the store on Sunday morning to confirm if they still had it and they said yes. So I rented a truck to pick it up. Once I got to the store I spoke to Nash (the manager) and without any hesitation he told me that the two employees I spoke to earlier in the week were wrong and he isn't going to sell the unit to me because it's that particular BBQ is for their "road team". I asked him if that's the case, why is the unit STILL on the floor and has a price tag on it and he just repeated that he's not selling that unit. There were no apologies for their mistake, no trying to resolve the issue, he just moved on to the next customer. The only saving grace this store has is the fact that they have a wide selection or BBQ and accessories. I suggest doing your own research instead of wasting your time speaking with Nash (I can't speak for other employees). PS: Take a close look at all of the negative reviews for this store. Instead of addressing the issue and trying to resolve it with the customer, Nash (the manager) comes out with some sort of sorry excuse explaining why the customer is wrong. If anything, this should give you an idea of the type of customer service this store provides.

I bought a BBG from this store a few years ago. One of the compelling parts of the sales pitch I got was how the store will provide service to the goods that they sell. I took the bait! A few years later my heating lamp was having problems. I had to contact the store three times over a week before someone replied to me. Then all they said was "sorry, we can't help you." Unimpressive. Would not recommend.

Great Customer service from Shivji. I've dealt with her previously on some accessory special order purchases. Nash really knows his stuff when it comes to BBQs and didn't try to up sell. I went in wanting a small freestanding Napoleon and left with the mid line quality Napoleon Rogue at a very fair price, similar to lower priced (Triumph / Legend) models at box stores. Although Nash was very busy, he took the time to answer my questions and show me the differences between the various makes and models. I took his info l, did some online research in the store, and even though I was there 15 minutes past closing, there was no pressure to decide, or leave, and I ended up with exactly the BBQ I wanted. The service level was exactly where I wanted it. Helpful, informative, not pushy, there when I had questions, left me alone with my phone when I wanted to be. If you're expecting a "salesman" to blow sunshine up your backside, go elsewhere. If you're looking for honest answers and no pressure sales with a fair price, this is the place.
