Very friendly staff. They asked if we would want to have less salt and non spicy for all over dishes. The sticky tofu was a surprised for me. I like it a lot. We also ordered skewers, soup, bbq chicken feet, etc. They all taste good. Will be back.

I tried the chicken skin, bbq beef skewers and chicken wings. All of the dishes were delicious. I liked their warming tray to keep everything hot. Upbeat atmosphere and friendly staff.

Great atmosphere! The decor is cool, down to the communist propaganda style logos on the dishware. The staff holler a loud welcome greeting in Chinese when someone enters. Beer flights were affordable and quite good, as were the lamb skewers. The cheaper lamb skewers were just as tasty as the more expensive "deluxe" lamb skewers, so go for the cheaper ones. Deep fried chicken knees were good, if you like that kind of crunchy cartilage thing. There was a smoked chicken dish that we found too salty.

Edit: Our second time coming, we got diarrhea. The food was delicious though but this was the only meal we had today... ------------- So good! Bbq Lamb skewer were fresh and delicious. Love the music and vibes.

We originally planned to come here to try out their bbq I mean, their name has "bbq" in it ... Unfortunately, we came during the day when they have a smaller "breakfast" menu and no bbq items. Inside, the interior is filled with neon lights. Quite different than the last restaurant that used to occupy this location. Food was actually pretty good but also slow to come out. The beef rolls were good and the sauce wasn't too sweet. I liked the steamed dumplings - they were quite large and plump. Overall, would have liked to try their bbq. Update: Came back for a revisit during dinner and the skewers turned out great. Especially liked the appy platter where you can choose up to 4 different appys and their dumplings.

Unarguably the most authentic northern BBQ I've ever had in north America. The service was also amazing, I could tell people were genuinely happy to help customers instead of just trying to get tips. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in Vancouver.

New bbq restaurant in Burnaby. The skewers were delicious and juicy. They have a drink cart with lots of selections and there is ample free parking in the parking lot and on the side streets!

We have been here for several times. Uncontested tast standard, sometimes are good, sometimes are uneatable. Althought they have less spicy and less salty options, but never follow through. No customer service. Over price with small portion. They used to have great price for the beer the only reason we came back , but now is almost double.

Really delicious food but on the expensive side, not for GVA but for what you get. Decor is whimsical and fun, service is attentive and pleasant. Their skewers were yummy but a bit expensive, our fav were the steamed lamb dumplings and Old Fashioned fried Cake, which is like a pancake ? sliced into thin strips and then stir fried like noodles. Least fav was these little pieces of chicken with lots of chillies, the chicken was not deboned so a lot of work to eat in small cut up pieces and the flavour was underwhelming compared to the rest. Will definitely be back.

Neat atmosphere, great food. This is a fun place to explore northern Chinese BBQ, The ordering is done on the menu itself and you can get pretty adventurous with the available options. And there are many....many options to choose from. They even have a flight of beer, but be warned that they are practically full size glasses. Service was good, a little slow.
