This is a real cozy home like authentic Serbian restaurant. Really comfortable and the food was superb. All 4 of us enjoyed the food. One of us wasn't into the fried smelt but I think that's a personal choice. I appreciate they left us to enjoy, chat and dine without checking in on us too often as many other restaurants seem to do. Perfect service is to let people dine and they did just that. Thank you!
Big portion, good value, good food. My friends loved everything we ordered, but the meat platter was a bit salty to me. There was only one waitress on the day we went. The waitress was very busy. We waited quite a while to put our order, and she forgot to refill our water and bring us sharing plates.
Tenen is a relatively small space but has decorations and photos all over the walls, so it feels cozy inside. A very European vibe of course. It's a good idea to call in and reserve before coming because it gets busy. The meals are huge and hardy. Definitely a place for meat lovers. Our order came out quickly, especially for the day we came in, which was labour day Monday. Our servers were really friendly, offered great suggestions on how we can share our meals, or how to order separately, and even offered us a little Rakia drink to have with our dessert, on the house! If I could give this place 6 stars, I would.
Maria did an amazing job to make sure we not only have a great service but also a super fun experience in this restaurant. The music was also great. The food was rich and delicious. If you prefer less salty you should make sure to communicate it since they are easy with salt but not salty food we definitely will back and I do recommend them.
Love it if you like a little more oily food A large and tasty portion that you will enjoy every part of that. The waitress was a great lady who laugh and help you to order the proper one even if she has to stop you Cost was ok The ambiance was the same as a European local restaurant, cozy and warm.
Calm interior, many things to catch your eye. Feels like you're in a museum of sorts even. Friendly staff, expect 15-20 minutes wait for your food empty or busy restaurant. The food was delicious, definitely worth the wait and price. I'd recommend the roast lamb, incredibly tender paired with the warm gravy. Will come back again!Recommended dishesRoast Lamb, Cevapi
The vibe of the restaurant feels like we were eating into the family's home. So comfortable and cosy. The food was fantastic, especially the BBQ Meat Platter and the portions were so generous that we had enough leftovers for lunch the next day.

This place is a real neighbourhood gem. I love the personal touches of the decor, all the memorabilia I can only guess is from the owners childhood/family. I wish I had time to really take a good look at it all. The service was friendly. The portions here are large, the food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. I absolutely loved the housemade cheese. If I recall correctly the gentleman said it's called Kajmak. Oh & the bread that came with the Chevapi dish was so light & fluffy. If I had one critique that would be the cabbage salad. I usually love the cabbage salad, but this one I found a little too vinegary for my liking. Definitely go check this place out & support this small business, you won't be disappointed! @inspiringfoodie
Tenen resturant is a western europ resturant. It is a family business. You are going to love the vibe. It has a charming ambience. They serve exceptional traditional Siberian dishes. Balkan-style bruschetta was terrific, and turshia was great. The MVP Meat platter is good for 5 to 6 people, and it comes with two bowls of salad and two types of butter. This place is highly recommended
