North Star Motel

No outstanding problems, especially for the price. Rooms seems to have just been renovated. Beds are "springy", otherwise no complaints. Haven't got the chance to try the breakfast during my stay though. Another good thing is that they gave us a good place to park both of our boats with a good view of them from our room. In short, a good place for when you need a cheap but comfy and clean motel.

I will admit when we pulled up I wanted my money back but I was told from the site I booked the room from that I would lose my money. The owners are new and are trying to update the place. They do have WiFi and cable. They need to use a little more fabric softener in the towels they were like sandpaper. The thing that blew us away was the breakfast buffet, it was better than most of the big motels. If I needed a room last minute I would stay here again.

Worst experience with lodging I ever had. Owner is abusive, staff is dysfunctional, breakfast is store bought pastries that keep getting put out even though stale, customer service is non-existent. Found the same rate on Dorset Street Burlington and am finally enjoying a wonderful Vermont experience.

Rooms are oke but the bathrooms need to be updated. And are dangerous there is a nail in the curtain rod sticking out waiting to poke a hole in your head. The beds in the first room where so noisy, every time you turned in your sleep you wake up from the noise. After complaining a couple of times we got another room, no fridge smaller TV en smaller bathroom, but no noisy beds. I give them 2 stars because the breakfast is good, you get lots of choice never seen it like that.

Tidy and clean motel. Bedroom too hot. Air conditioner out of order. Noisy mattress.
