We have recently moved to Calgary and trust me this Library thing is the best thing happened to us so farnThey made my library card in less than 3 minutes, there was a guy at the desk who was very welcoming and helpful. He made my card and welcome me to library. It was closing time so we came back and visited the library the next day and to my surprise this time there was a lady at the desk who was way more kind, nice, helpful and loving.nShe gave my kids a guided tour to kids section and not only that she had some reading time with my 6 years oldnIt was incredible experience and the library is really nice. I only got a chance to visit the kids section which was really nice, neat and clean. A small carpeted area for toddlers to play with.nThere are bunch of programs for ur kids to get enrolled innWe loved our experience visiting this librarynI would like to give them 10 stars instead of 5nAnd yes you can eat in the library too
Nicholas Family library has very good access to C-Train. The kids area is so small with limited toys.nIt's a calm place and all library facilities are available.
Staff is so friendly and they don't get irritated when kids play across! Located right in Westbrook LRT station. First time you may get confused. Enter the Westbrook station from the other side Walmart side and you will see library entrance just before the elevator that goes down to C-train.
The keyboards at the conputers are so crusted with dirt, it is actually difficult to even type up this review. Otherwise.. Good vibes and fine staff.
Good library with many amenities. It's a great place to put a hold on books, but I discourage people from looking for a book at this library, the selection is incredibly low. The staff is great, and it's a wonderful place for studying. I had hoped the coffee shop would have done well, but it hasn't so it is no more:. Starbucks is located in Westbrook mall though, in case you want a little treat to have while studying.
