Story

The most famous waterfall in America thunders just minutes away from your peaceful campsite at Niagara Falls North / Lewiston KOA. Your hosts can arrange a van tour, door-to-door, to the jaw-dropping view. Or they can offer you many other suggestions, like the huge jet-boat run through the rapids in Niagara Gorge, musket demonstrations at 300-year-old Fort Niagara and charter fishing on Lake Ontario. A pro golf course is 1 mile away. At KOA, take a quiet swim in the pool. Set up a game of horseshoes or volleyball while the kids enjoy the recreation room, occasional ice cream socials and pancake breakfasts. New facilities include the laundry, recreation room, bathrooms and store / office.

The owner was horribly rude! What a nasty full of himself man! I've been to over a dozen KOA's all over upstate US and this was by far the worst hospitality I've ever received. Me and my family stayed here for one night before we had to "leave." I came later at night last minute and did not make it to the check in time it was exactly 9:15 when me and my bf with my two dogs pulled into the campground. I am not saying that my dogs did not bark periodically throughout the night, but not consistently and certainly not enough to wake my sleeping grandparents let alone other campers near us. We received no complaints from fellow campers or any indication that we were being loud or rude. The next morning at about 8:30 we were "greeted" by the male owner. He came over and immediately gave his attitude. Told us "we had driven out other campers and the dogs were barking nonstop until 3 am." Then to show even more class he threw in "I don't know if you guys will have to leave or not, I haven't decided." He left with a sour face and finished it with "clean this place up!" How nasty! Even if we were being loud, which no fellow campers came by to indicate we were, we paid to be here too! I am a manager of a grocery store and I act with more professionalism with an irate shopper then this man did for my families birthday vacation experience! After his sharp remark we decided we did not want to stay somewhere owned by such an unprofessional person and asked for our money back, he refused! Called cooperate office on the way back to camp! Do not camp here! Please take the time to go down to Branches of Niagara on Grand island. That place knows how to treat a camper! (PIC OF OUR "TRASHED CAMPGROUND")

Great owners, great campground. Close to the Falls and a great base at reasonable price. We just stayed for two nights but we will be back when we are in the area again. Check out the virtual 360 tour we did on Google Maps

Reservation was quick, online. Got exactly what I reserved for which was tent site with water and electric. The campsite was clean. The washrooms and showers were well-maintained. I would go back there again!

The rudest person I have ever met who cares less about his business. I don't know where to begin but the owner of this campground disrespected us so badly within 2 minutes being on the grounds. It's my first RV and first trip so I called and the owner told us to come. When we arrived we pulled straight in to do a U turn to get to the office. Half way in the owner comes flying as I'm turning and says get out. I thought he is mistaken but he wasn't I tried to ask him why? He yelled and said I had to stop by the office which is what I was doing. He cursed, yelled and kicked us out. Also the place was poorly mai maintained. It looked horrible to be honest. Just avoid this place if you want to have a clean, relax and respectful environment.

This was our first time using A KOA and what a bad experience it was. Check in was pretty easy. A very nice women helped us and was very kind. Once we were checked in we headed to the tent sites. They have not been up kept ( like everything else at the facility) . There were picnic tables in the "road" that leads to the sites. They listed 15 but only half had fire rings. The rings Do Not have the grill top that we are used to . So we then had no way to grill our food. The area was infested with mosquito and is next to some farm land. It literally smelled like poop. They did have showers and a small store. But there isn't a place for old food, a facility for tent campers to wash their dirty dishes. Needs some serious TLC. The owner / manager was extremely rude . He didn't care about us whatsoever . We ended up leaving a day early bc it was not for us. I would not stay here. And not sure I'll ever use a KOA again.
