Niagara Falls is absolutely breathtaking! We were amazed not only by the power and majesty of the waterfalls themselves, but also by how well the park is organized. To my surprise, Parking Lot #3 at the east end of Goat Island can accommodate long trailers, RVs, and even commercial trucks — and parking is free on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, which is incredible.nnThe falls are stunning and truly awe-inspiring and The Maid of the Mist boat ride is an absolute must-do. Tickets were $28 per person on site, and while only service dogs are allowed no pets, the experience is unforgettable. Crossing briefly into Canadian waters makes the ride even more special. Sharing the excitement and joy with people from all over the world was wonderful.nnWithout the boat ride, we would have missed the full beauty of the falls. The Observation Deck offers a fantastic view from above, and the surrounding trails and landscapes are gorgeous. It’s a place worth coming back to again and again.
Niagara Falls State Park is truly one of those places that takes your breath away the moment you arrive. The sheer power and beauty of the falls are impossible to capture in pictures—you have to experience it in person to fully appreciate it. The park is beautifully maintained with plenty of scenic overlooks, walking trails, and spots to sit and take in the view.nnI loved how accessible everything was—whether you want a leisurely stroll along the pathways or a closer, thrilling view from the observation areas, there’s something for everyone. The sound of the rushing water, the mist in the air, and the rainbows that form over the falls make it feel magical.nnWhat stood out to me most was how well the park blends natural wonder with thoughtful amenities. There are clear signs, friendly staff, and plenty of spots for photos. If you take the time to walk through the park instead of rushing straight to the main viewing area, you’ll discover quiet paths and stunning angles of the falls that many people miss.nnWhether you’re coming for a quick stop or spending the whole day, Niagara Falls State Park is unforgettable. It’s the kind of place that reminds you just how amazing nature really is. A must-visit for anyone traveling through New York!
I love this place, especially the American side. This is laid out like a state park so while you're at the actual State Park it is very open, clean, and safe. It is very well lit and there is food options here as well as activities. You can stop here at almost any time of the year and have a good time, it is honestly beautiful at all times of the year. The views of the falls are amazing and don't forget the American and bridal falls which are all in the same property.
Absolutely mind-blowing experience! Niagara Falls is truly breathtaking in person. We did the Maid of the Mist boat ride, which was thrilling and gave us such an up-close view of the falls. The Cave of the Winds was equally incredible – feeling the power of the water right next to you is unforgettable!nnWe also enjoyed exploring the souvenir shops, which had some really cute finds to remember the trip. At night, the falls lit up in vibrant colors looked magical and made for the perfect ending to the day. A must-visit destination!
This was our first time to visit Niagara Falls State Park and my first time in New York. My husband visited the Canada side 2 years ago on a group trip. The park, the falls are so beautiful, relaxing and takes the stress away! We loved everything about it! The park is so big and we were able to go to every spot listed on the map. We took advantage of using the trolley as it was hot the day we were there. We visited the Visitors Center and Jack was very helpful and knows his stuff about the park and surrounding cities. We took his suggestions and visited the other cities too. Our first night there we went back and saw the falls lite up with different colors and the fireworks at night. Another amazing and beautiful sight to see! We also did the Maids of Mist boat tour and the Caves of the Wind. There’s no fee for the park. The trolley is $5 per person for all day they run. There are fees for the attractions, Maid of the Mist and Caves of the Wind.
