Bought a Napier truck tent in 2017, and I love it! I had a couple of poles that were showing their age and was pleasantly surprised to see they can be purchased on their own, as the tent itself is still in great shape 5 years later. Poles came in quick! One of them broke on first use, and I contacted customer service regarding a replacement, which has before the date I was told it was being shipped if you ever get Sana- she’s awesome!!. Highly recommend Napier!
what a great tent!!! we got one that is for the truck box and the link to the bottom fit our family and more. Soo easy to set up too. all components are heavy duty this is a 10/10
Napier Outdoors customer service is excellent! I had an issue ordering a tent and I emailed the company late at night. I received a response first thing in the morning from Grace F that answered all of my questions. I felt valued and respected as a customer and unfortunately that's rare. I usually only write bad reviews yes I'm that guy but I also write 5 star ones when they're deserved. I'll return to review the product Sports Truck Tent but I am a huge fan of Napier and the way they treat customers. Do yourself a favor and give them a try. Or call/email and ask them any questions you have- they are incredibly responsive. 10 out of 10!
Always wanted a hatch tent for my Honda Element but didn't want to pay the dealer price. Finally found a great alternative through Napier Outdoors. Went down to see the people in St. Catharines and was able to test-fit one of their tents prior to purchase. Just love this tent. It is the Sportz Cove 61500 model and fits well on the Element; a little tight around the lower door but haven't had any issues with the seams or zippers tearing. A much better price than Honda dealer. It makes a great difference getting that extra two feet of space in the back of the Element versus trying to sleep with the rear doors closed. Held up to a storm on the first occasion of use. Have loads of people stopping and asking about it.
We love our backroads truck tent! We have had to replace the vestibule poles twice now one time was probably our fault, we were camping in the Badlands and the winds were CRAZY. Their customer service team is always SO nice and helpful. I love that you can buy replacement parts easily on the website for a few bucks. Came for the cool outdoor gear and staying for the 5 star customer service :
Wow can’t say enough good things about these guys. First off the Backroads SUV tent I bought is absolutely amazing. It’s exactly what I was looking for and really adds a lot of space for my camping trips. I had a small tear in one of the seams- contacted Joanna and she was a doll to work with. Filled out the warranty info and they are sending me a brand new tent. Best experience I’ve had with a company in as long as I can remember.
Napier makes some of the best tents for SUV/Trucks. And while many of their models can also be used as ground tents, their claim to fame is how well their tents work with people's vehicles. I tested out the Sportz SUV Tent Model #84000 and used it as a ground tent, and I found it to be very roomy, and high quality. My only critique is that it wasn't the easiest to setup, but with another person helping, I had it up and ready to use within an hour. It was truly like camping in luxury; I love the screened-in room! Great feature.
Great people here! We wanted a tent that would hook up to our Prius V hatchback. They showed us which model would work best for our car and gave us 35 percent off what it sells for anywhere else. We had already researched online shops and could not find it on and discount sale elsewhere . Saved us over 120 dollars plus tax! This is Napiers worldwide main office and warehouse right here in St. Catharines! They also have a US shipping presence across the border in Western NY.
This company has the best customer service, very kind and pleasant to talk to. They also have the best products, high quality and dependable. I would highly recommend them and there products any-day.
I can’t wait to actually camp in the sportz truck tent and ground link set up. I’m not much for reading directions so the first set up for both tents took about 90 minutes but that’s because my use for the tent is a bit non traditional as I plan on adapting it to my trailer instead of my truck bed. Both tents are incredibly well thought out. It would be even better if you could zip the ground link to the truck tent but there are plenty of connection points with the straps and I’m sure I could drape a tarp over the seam for worst case scenario. Very glad I went this route instead of spending 3k+ on one of those fold out truck top tents. I spent $330 total and this feels like the taj ma freakin hall compared to my old tent. Thanks Napier good stuff!
