the meat skewers here taste good but not too good, the meat is marinated a lot of chili powder and too much spice in it and especially there is no special taste like many other meat skewers. . However, the remaining dishes such as fried clams are very delicious and juicy. As for the enoki mushroom with transparent noodles, it doesn't suit my taste either. You should try the king sausage here, and the sweet potato shake with sugar- very delicious.

Most chinses-style barbecues in Toronto were not accurate roasts, just deep-fried and sprinkled with condiments. Always BBQ has the same quality as the name and cooking style; if you have misunderstood Chinese-style barbecue before, please try this one; it will definitely not disappoint you.

It pains me to write this but this restaurant is a MESS! Came here with some friends after being highly recommended. Located in the Saint Germain Plaza, parking was plenty abundant surprised as their neighbor usually has a packed house. The seating is here is seat yourself and order via the table QR code this should ensure order accuracy and expedition? The been curd with beef Paddy Wack beef back strap appetizer came very fast but noticed it was vegetarian... it did not have the star of the show, the back strap. Waved down a server and they looked at it and said it was cut very small and they only give a very small amount... we asked them to take a closer look and identify any pieces in our dish. They reluctantly took it back to the kitchen and when they came back out, they said the chef "forgot" to include it in. But the serving was only 2/3 the size of the original they brought out. The other dishes came out in a good pace, the grilled House special dry beef was a very interesting item. Think beef pellicle without the funky taste. The grilled beef heart artery was cooked well and not overly chewy. The grilled house special beef was ok as we came here for the grilled lamb but they were out of this particular item. We had 2 more dishes grilled oysters and grilled chicken brittle bone. We were eating our other items and after waiting 30 minutes, we asked where our 2 other dishes, the servers asked if we want to add and informed them it was on our initial order and the ordering system on our phones were not able to pull up our items ordered and requested them to confirm with the kitchen. They returned 5 minutes later to say there was no such order and during that time, our phones were able to Re-establish connection to pull up our order. Only then did they said the oysters will be coming out shortly and we cancelled our grilled chicken rack. Another 20 minutes pass 50 minutes from when the last food item was dropped off our oysters were presented. The appearance was ok but when we were taking the oyster meat out, we found it too easy to remove and noticed none of our 4 shells had the abductor muscles present. I truly want to recommend this shop but cannot with the lack of care and respect to the dining clientele plain rude or just don’t care? There are many other shops that respect each and every customer unlike this establishment

The BEST cold noodles and skewers in town. Not sure why this place has such low ratings, I’ve always enjoyed ordering from here. It’s so good to pair the spicy skewers with their cold noodles must try!. The meat is fresh and not to salty. My go to is their lamb skewers. best Chinese bbq ever! Their servers are super friendly

The dry beef skewer is very unique, it has very strong beef taste and it’s very dry. The house special beef skewer is also pretty dry compare with other bbq store, but it’s very flavorful! I like the pork feet, great portion and you can taste the collagen. The bbq fish and buns are fine, just wish there are more spices on it. The sour radish is a great appetizer it help eliminate the oily taste of bbq. Overall this is a good store to order bbq, and I have to mention their food packaging is very clean and organized!

Taste is too bad. We ordered lamb, spicy pork rib, meat are all overcooked. Most shock thing is while customers are eating their food the server hit flys with a flyswatter. I don’t recommend this place.

Awesome BBQ place for couples and late night group gatherings. It’s a very cozy place with large portions of food. IMO they have the best beef skewer in town and I kept on coming back for their small cold dishes as well. Price is very fair especially considering the portion and the super late business hours didn’t hurt one bit too. Definitely my go to place to meet a few friends at night, always had great experiences there. Oh, definitely try their chicken!!! You can come back and thank me later :
