First of all the service is impeccable. The restaurant itself is beautiful, ask for a window seat overlooking the Detroit River. The steak was prepared excellently. The lobster was exquisite. The coffee was hot and fresh. The cream Brule was mouth watering. It is a top of the line steak house and it shows.
My friend made a reservation at 7pm on 21 September 2022. When we arrived at the front entrance. There were two ladies, I think they were the hosts. One is older and one is younger. They both didn't say a word when they saw us. My friend told them his name for the reservation. They both didn't say a word and just looked at their tablet. I found it's very odd. All in a sudden, they show a friendly face and smile to greet the couples behide us. Both me and my wife looked at each other and found that the silence treatment was only for us. The younger girl lead us to our table and only had one conversation with my friend. Me and my wife didn't say anything because that night was my friend's treat. We ordered our foods. One lobster and steak, one chicken and one lamb racks. We waited over 45 minutes before food arrived. The presentation of the dishes were bad. They all burned like charcoal. You can tell from my pictures. Only the lobster was ok. With the price they charged. I would expect a better experience.
This is one of the best places for romantic date right in downtown Windsor. Excellent food and wine. Service is great too! Their Beefsteak is the bestttt! Deals on Wednesday and Sunday is a must try. Spouse and I went for my birthday. The restaraunt is beautiful and feels very 'high-class'. Neros has a great wine selection - but the food was just *good*. For a $350 bill, I was expecting to be blown away. The bread we started with was stale, the loaded potato was dry and lacked flavour, and the salad was a bit soggy. The steak and desert were otherwise very good. The server was nice but didn't ask if we were celebrating anything until the very end when we were about to leave, and then offered free chocolate cake if we come back next week as if most people can afford $350 dinner every week.
Great Food and great service. We enjoyed the surf and turf special which was well priced. We were lucky to be able to get in without a reservation but I would suggest making one just in case.
The chicken was absolutely scrumptious, it was juicy, seasoned well, and the wild mushrooms on-top were perfect. The chimicuri was so fresh hands down one of the best chicken dishes I have ever had. The lobster mac and cheese was mind blowing- the combination of creaminess with the perfectly baked pasta, with the lobster pieces, my taste buds were so happy!
My husband enjoyed his birthday dinner and his Hennessy was not horribly overpriced. Our server was fantastic and I LOVED the Cab he recommended. We had the special and it was delicious.
The food and service was amazing. We had the surf and turf and was completely satisfied with not only the way is was cooked to perfection but the quantity. We were full after we finished just over half of our meal. Meron was our server and she was excellent. I'll be looking forward to returning againFood: 5/5
Decent price + amazing food and great service = happy customer! Steak was amazing and spicy shrimp was not to be missed!
Milan was an amazing server. He made the night. We took our time and shared a wonderful evening. The food was delicious. The ambiance delightful. Their special in Wednesday and Sunday is well worth looking at.Food: 5/5
