Grabbed dinner at this place - we ordered the hot pot. We wanted to to share one hotpot and order the king dumplings as well but our server said we will have to order two hot pots, which I thought was a bit odd. That said, the food was really good, service was great too. We were very full! Definitely recommend this place.
My goto place for Korean king size dumplings and noodle soup. The dumplings and noodle were freshly made so you could tell the difference immediately in first bite. The complimentary kimchi was fresh and tasty too. Staff was very nice and polite.
Dined in on a Friday around noon with a party of 5. We ordered 4 bowls of noodle soup and 3 orders of dumplings, along with their complimentary kimchee. Everything was delicious. Although the noodle soup didn't have much meat, it still felt hearty and filling. The dumplings I heard are smaller than before but I still felt that they are double the size of your average dumpling. Their kimchee is excellent - looks spicy but it's not that hot at all. Prices are reasonable considering inflation. Will definitely be back!
Gets busy around 1pm on weekend lunch. Nice and clean atmosphere. Famous for their noodles and dumplings. I tried shabu shabu for the first time, and the quality was a lot better than I expected. Great variety of veggies and generous portions of meat and protein. Recommended for a nice hearty meal with family or bigger party of people.
Their Handmade kimchi was really good. I haven’t taste any another kimchi that has the same savory flavor as this one in other Korean restaurants. The Mandus were huge, they have a very decent taste when you dip it into the soy sauce. As you see, the portion for pig feet was huge. It’s for too much for two people to enjoy. I left this place with fullness. Highly recommend.
Passed by here many times and finally got around to trying it. We ordered the dumpling shabu shabu minimum order of 2 required. The shabu shabu itself was very delicious and filling, it could easily feed 3-4 people in my opinion. On the menu it didn't say it was spicy there were ones that specifically stated this and when it first arrived, the broth was clear. But as it cooked and as we ate it, it got spicer. I was a little disappointed about that since I can't really eat spicy foods and had no choice but to continue eating it. Next time I would definitely specify to them I want it nonspicy. Service is good, the servers are kinda and respectful. When we went it was closer to closing time so they were cleaning and sometimes it was a little hard to get their attention. But overall had a great experience there and would definitely go again.
This is a hidden Korean gem in the Thornhill/Richmond Hill area. Its signage is very discrete so I would have never noticed it unless I was looking for it. It's a cozy restaurant with premium hot pot offerings, some noodles and probably the best kimchi in town. I ordered the Bibim noodles, a spicy cold vegetable noodle dish, which was absolutely delicious. I was initially a little taken aback that this was the only vegetarian option on their menu and that it was a cold noodle, but after having tasted it, I would highly recommend it and will definitely be ordering it again. My husband ordered the Kal Guk Soo, which was a hot noodle dish with beef and was also very good. He also ordered the King Size Dumplings, which were delicious. We were told that the Kal Guk Soon and King Size Dumpling were there most popular dishes. One of the meals came with a bone broth. They definitely have a limited menu, but it looks like everything on their menu is delicious and reasonably priced. If you are incredibly impressed with their kimchi, like I was, you can also buy it in a takeout container. They sell it in three sizes $4, $6 and $10. Vegetarian options: There is only one vegetarian option on their menu which is the bibim noodles, a cold spicy noodles that is absolutely delicious. Parking: There's a parking lot right in front of the restaurant which is shared with the neighboring businesses.
A restaurant chain known for their traditional Korean dishes. First off, their "world famous" kimchee side dish made in house puts the others to shame. Not a large variety to their menu, soup noodles and dumplings/mandoo are very traditional, when all the staff speaks Korean, you know you've stumbled into something special. IMAO their large dumplings although good are a little too sweet/garlicy for my personal tastes. Their noodle soup came out piping hot, noodles firm and soup had nice peppery after taste Will add this to my "visit again" list
This place is a hidden gem! We ordered the mandu hotpot and I absolutely love it! The soup base is great and you'll have a plate of handmade noodles in the end. Kimchi is also super!
Good place: friendly and fast service, authentic dishes. There are a lot of choices for hog lovers. My favorite is dumplings!!! So big and tasty. Highly recommend it.
