It was very tasty. Of all the green onion chicken tteokbokki I had in Toronto, the quantity and quality were the best. And It would be better if I could choose the level of spiciness. By the way, The oil was fresh so all fries was delicious. Especially the fried squid Fantastic! I want to go back next time and try different menu lol!
No one makes Tteokbokki as good as this restaurant. My son usually orders combo "C" for cheese. But today we tried combo "D" chicken and combo "E" shrimp and beef. I liked both, especially the "popcorn" chicken! The only caution is it is quite spicy! If you do takeout, there is a cash discount. Kid-friendliness: too spicy for small kids
Delicious honey Korean food. Great for sharing and big portions, especially good value for the combo sets which come with fried food and make your own rice balls. The tteokbokki were all great the green onion fried chicken was my personal fav and the cheese one was great too, huge cheese pulls. Super chewy and soft and delicious, not too spicy either. Would love to come again.
Tasty tteokbokki with perfect chewy texture. Spice level was good for my below-average tolerance. for reference I enjoy fire noodles with 1/3 of the sauce packet lol Personally didn't like the fried set but everything else was good!
Definitely a premium location. Rice cake has the perfect texture and portions are ginormous---but you do have to pay a huge asking price to get that amazing quantity, no options for downsizing. But that's fine with me; for special occasions, it's definitely worth the rich flavour and stellar presentation. Even a portion of each plate is filling, too. I got the normal tteokbokki, no toppings added, and it was still very delicious.
Out of all the tteokbokki I’ve tried, thid is by far my favourite place to visit. Most restaurants have overly chewy rice cakes, but it’s near perfect here. The soup sauces have a nice mixture between spicy and sweet, so you won’t feel an uncomfortable spice lingering in your throat after either. You might feel turned off because of the price, but the portion is surprisingly large with a bunch of the rich sauce! Love the vibes here too— great to hang out with some friends on a Saturday. I recommend for all tteokbokki lovers.
Super yummy and very decently priced! Their tteokbokki is perfectly soft and chewy. Definitely order from their “Sets” menu - you get a huge portion of tteokbokki, with fried snacks the kimmari was tasty! and rice balls on the side! We made about 6-7 rice balls with our portion Spice level of the kingkong tteokbokki was perfect for me, and I have a relatively low spice tolerance.
~ The rice cake texture is just as what i wanted. There are many other restaurants make tteokboggi but this place is the best. I also like their fried dumplings they are so good I want to order them extras. It's super nice when you deep it in tteokboggi sauce.
Best tteokbokki I have ever had. The restaurant was very clean and spacious. Friendly & fast service. I will definitely come back to try more dishes!
First time trying tteokbokki so I have nothing to compare to, but, this is exactly what I envisioned! It was so good, the flavors were a little sweet and spicy. So cheesy, and chewy. I love this dish! I was even given those small yogurt drinks, which were also delicious!
