Since the opening, this is my place to go for any types of cold noodles. Lots of flavours, fresh ingredients, and massive portions. So glad that I can have home made style delicious cold noodles anytime I want.
For $12.99, I ordered the Gamjatang Pork Bone Soup and was highly impressed. The broth was exactly how I liked it, there was a lot of meaty pieces, and the bowl was bigger than I expected. This will be one of my new go to places for Gamjatang
Order Gamjatang. Delicious and huge portion for only $12.99. I don't speak Korean but the elderly lady still tried her best with English. Don't read the reviews that say she's prejudice because she tried very hard to understand me. She also didn't want to give extra kimchi to other Korean speaking customers when they asked for more... so it's not just non-Korean speakers she doesn't give it too. I saw she had limited amount of kimchi in a tub and pickled radish small container in the fridge. There were many people orders ahead of me and I went around 3PM. Took about 25 minutes for my order to be complete. Be patient because there is only one cook. She got my order confused with another kimchi tofu soup but we were able to talk it out with lots of hand motions and my poor pronunciation. Food was delicious, worth the wait and price was fair. I had about 5 piece of pork bone in my soup very meaty too.
Sul Lang Tang, beef slides soup, is a cheaper option than Kalbi Tang. But the bowl is smaller. Meat in the soup still super good!
disgusting experience. if i could give a negative star review I would. We decided to try this place out because we saw a few people in line and thought the food must be good. It might! But we never got to find out as the lady rudely ignored us and then waved us away. We saw her being very friendly with the Korean speaking customers in front of us and later, the ones behind us. However when we started to order her expression noticeably changed and she turned to her side and stared at the wall ignoring us. my husband had no idea as he was focused on reading off the menu so kept ordering. She looked over with a side eye at least twice, still facing the wall and then turned her attention back to the wall. When he finished ordering she stared at us and then back at the wall for almost a full minute before turning over to the kitchen and yelling something, then FINALLY turned to us and just waved us away saying she didn't have any left. She then pointed us to the shop next door and so we left. Absolutely disgusting experience. We have NEVER been treated with such disrespect. She was chatting very friendly with the other customers speaking Korean but the second my husband opened his mouth to order in English she turned away. She definitely heard him ordering since she was able to get back go us in the end and tell us she didn't have anymore; so there's no excusing her rude behavior of ignoring him while he was ordering. My advice to anyone who can't speak Korean, is don't bother.
Super tasty pork bone soup. Go for extra spicy if you are a fan.
Ordered the GamJaTang and KanPungGi - definitely my favourites! The food here is very well made and is always delicious!! Excellent and super friendly customer service. Will for sure come back for more! :
My experience with this restaurant has been nothing but amazing! This is Korean food done the way grandma would make it! What you are getting is High Quality Korean cooking where quantities match the prices and the food is beyond amazing! I strongly suggest any other the stews.. you won't be disappointed !
if you guys are ever feeling some authentic korean food, this is the place to go! every dish is delicious and you honestly can’t go wrong with the classic pork bone soup. Hidden gem
