Myrtle Park

This is a great park for numerous activities: playground, swings, dirt field, baseball field, water/splash park, little river, bathrooms, and trails. I planted myself on a table between the splash park & playground to watch my 15mo & 3yo. On a Thursday, it was not busy. There’s many trees/shade. Although it’s not fenced, there’s a little forest area between play area & large parking lot.

There is perhaps a concession stand that sells hot dogs open in the summer. In the winter the fields are a hot dog- less marshy area with poor drainage.

Used to be a really nice park that was well used by the community. Now, it's ugly and unwelcoming with so many fences that it feels more like a prison yard than a neighborhood park. All that's missing are the guard towers. The dog park has no benches, or shade, or dog watering facilities. It's a dust bowl in the summer and a mud pit in the winter. Pretty sad overall. All of that being said, it does have a very nice little water park and playground for small children.

Super nice park with a waterpark for kids, forest trails and a grass sportsfield. They have a drinking water fountain that works!!

We had a birthday party here. This was good as the kids could play in the water park. Also a great place for dogs. There's an offleash area. Everyone had fun - including Noodle and Chester.

Soccer field, baseball field, inline hockey court, playground, public washrooms. Playground: Nice high spiral tube slide, only 2 baby swings, a little patch of forest great for hide and seek. Restrooms: Male, female, sinks, hand dryers Dog-friendliness: Everyone brings dogs. It's a stop along trails. Picnic area: A few picnic tables.

Neighbourhood park in Deep Cove. Built more for special activities than general lounging around and picnics and barbeques. There's a soccer field, a baseball field, four tennis courts, a dog run, a small water park for kids and a small playground. Not much of a field to play around otherwise.

Many children in close proximity of eachother/people walking on the trails during a pandemic. If you have an autoimmune issue avoid this park. It's no longer secure. Aside for that it's a nice park with a good dog play area.
