Excellent spot to spend a day by the water and have a picnic, or grab a bite to eat along the strip. Deep Cove Kayak have plenty of rental equipment available and offer lessons too. You can walk down the dock and take pictures with the beautiful scenery behind you or bring your kayak for a paddle on the calm waters. Parking lots to the left of the cove have free 3hr parking spots but if you are brining equipment; it is best to park to the right- next to the grassy area to make for a short walk to the water after setting up.
Deep Cove is paradise. Nestled in a Cove surrounded by pristine mountain and water view backdrops. Popular for kayaking, strolling, hiking, picnicking , wonderful cafes and Honeys famous donuts. This small very special area runs out of parking spaces quickly and can be quite overcrowded on sunny warm days. Please be courteous on the small sidewalks on Panarama Drive. There are many people on walkers , wheelchairs, and baby strollers also trying to get by.
I love visiting Deep Cove Park. Yesterday was the second time my family and I came here with our dog, as always. Sunshine and a bit wind came smooth out our picnic time. We found a wooden table by the lake, ordered sushi from local restaurant nearby and enjoyed our early dinner time. Only 35minutes from Vancouver. It was hard to find available parking spot, but we finally made it with free parking on street, just in front of the lake, very convenient.
Near this is a park and trails. Which are good for walk. Deep cove is mostly windy. Lots of benches to sit there. But if you want to put up a mat or tent you can do that. You can not swim that side it’s for kayaking, Very nice staff guide you everything and make you feel safe Minimum 2 hours kayaking for $45 but you can hire for longer hours . You can keep your stuff safe with them. They also provide you a gps. If you want to rent you can rent a safe cover for your phone for $ 7. Toilets always dirty people not being responsible and throwing used tissues on floor seats are mostly clean but toilets stinks.
Deep Cove is the eastern trail that spans the foothills of the mountains of North Vancouver. It gives way to launching or moor boats or shelter for calm harbour vista that is the area’s signature view. Paddling Indian Arm offers a unique opportunity to view the mountains and native wildlife from sea level.
Stunning park surrounded by the cutest little stores, coffee shops and especially the best donuts I’ve ever had. There’s also Kayaks available for renting and while I decided not to because it was very rainy and chilly, I’ve heard it’s one of the best spots in Canada to go kayaking.
I like everything there. Nice park with nice playground. If you like kayaking or boating, this is your place. Different shops there and you can have a good snack but little pricy. Parking is limited but you can find a spot easy weather in the three or four hours limits. View there is great , so prepare your camera.
Beautiful views! Cute little strip with all different shops. Unfortunately the kayaks were all sold out but it looked like it was organized well and was a busy spot. Would definitely go back. Reserve the kayaks in advance so you’re not disappointed!
Absolutely beautiful! What a great place. The spotted seals are popping up everywhere! The kayaking was smooth and calming.
Underrated little cute town that has kayaking and small town feel of the bay. Kayaking is not expensive and worth the discovery to this quaint little town.
