Excellent customer service. I have ordered different signature cakes for family birthdays, and they overall were good. This time ordered online 3:15 5”x3” which was good size for 6 people, it was not too sweet. The Milky Way slide is in my favourite list now.
I love these macarons. They are not only cute, but delicious. My favourite was the white peach designed as a lucky cat, though all the other flavours are excellent as well. Customer service was excellent and pickup was very easy. They had so many other gorgeous treats in their store that I will have to try next time!
Been visiting this location many times. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The gold thorn cake is absolutely incredible. From taste to design, the best durian cake ever! My daughter loves the little cute Terra cake very much. It is very cute and delicious! Daan Go cakes & macaroons are definitely worth the 5 stars.
I love Daan Go and placed a pick-up order for here for the first time, as I had only visited their Chinatown location before. This location was way more efficient and organized than my experience with the Chinatown shop, although that's not to say the other location was bad. I've just had to wait for orders there before and at this location, they found my order right away and brought it out to me all set to go. I ordered macaron I always do because they are SO GOOD, a slice of the 3:15 cake, a Unicorn cookie, and a S'mores cookie. The 3:15 cake is my favorite of theirs that I've tried. If you like caramel flavors, you should definitely check it out. The cookies were fun and also yummy. Everything was well worth it. Daan Go makes excellent baked goods and fun treats, I highly recommend them!
Delicious desserts. Bought a variety of different cakes to try. Everything was super delicious not too sweet. Personal favourite was the Terra. Delicious matcha flavour perfect for people who love dark and rich matcha, but personally I thought the outer chocolate layers was too thick. Overall great dessert spot.
So happy another location has opened! It’s so awesome to see daan go thriving! Baker siu really knows how to appeal to the masses with his cute amd innovative creations! The character macarons are always nice to see and such nice details in the shell! And at any given time, there’s so many to choose from, so you will always be able to get something for everyone! the macaron shells had the perfect chewiness and the cream filling was nice and soft, but still creamy and flavourful! Also had the tira meow su and this was super creamy! Also loved the strong espresso flavour and that hint of alcohol taste to it! Very nicely done! All with a cute marshmallow cat sitting on top too! Also available at this location is the hk milk tea, which I think this has quickly become one of my fave hk milk teas out there! Nice and smooth with creaminess to it! And ofc the nice tea flavour you get in every sip! Service is also nice! Quick and efficient and getting orders together in a very reasonable time! Great job overall! Great bakery! Have so many cool things. Amazing flavours. Always get thr macarons and a treat for birthdays but tried the ice cream this time Thai milk bubble tea and it was fantastic! Taste exactly like the drink
I got a milk tea cake and a tiramisu cake for my birthday. I loved the base cookie layer on both cakes. I wish they had a bit more actual cake and less mousse, but that's my personal preference. Others seemed to think the milk tea cake was a tad bitter but I thought it was fine. Cakes were nicely decorated unlike other cake shops and the cakes weren't too sweet. The cakes seem small but they do feed a lot of people! I also got one of their bottled milk teas to try. 2/5. Can't say that I'm a fan. Not a very smooth drink and it could use more sugar.
I have ordered 6 different slices. The best one was 24K Mango cheese cake! Absolutely unique and sooo delicious! The rest were Tira-Meow-Su, 3:15, Matcha crepe cake, Diamond and Tiramisu cake slices and they were all delicious too. My least favorite was the Matcha crepe... I think it could be a bit less creamy to make it more enjoyable and easier to finish. I would definitely recommend this place and will continue getting sweets from them.
This is one of the many Daan Go locations. They offer macarons, ice creams, cakes and mini cakes. I believe their macarons are probably the most popular menu item. They have 18 flavours of macarons. My favourite is the pistachio flavour. It is $3.75 per macaron, which is expensive. If you buy a box, it's tax free so I typically buy the 18 macaron box for $66. The prices of the boxes are on a photo. I often buy their boxes as gifts as the packaging is nice. I don't think their macarons taste as good as other places, but they are cute and received better as gifts. I bought a box this week and they tasted stale, which is why I'm taking a point off. The staff were very friendly, but their machines are set to a 15% tip unless you enter a custom tip. While I always tip generously, I think expecting 15% on a $66 box just for putting macarons in a box is a little much.
