Great ambiance. Nice fusion restaurant. We have been visiting for years. Food was good and unique but portions were a little small. Today we were not impressed by seeing a lipstick mark on our ice cream cup. Please see the last picture We felt disappointed and disgusted so when we informed the server about this and no need to get another replacement. Unfortunately, she did not acknowledge the importance of our concern and did not apologize. She didn’t even offer anything and she just walked away. We are also in food industry, we know how important of the hygiene and customer’s concern, especially during Covid. We might not be visiting soon.
first visited 3 years ago, closer to when it first opened. it was really popular and the wait time for food was too long for us, so we didn't ever really consider returning. now, visiting again, on a weekend afternoon, it was actually quite nice. although the wait time for the food seems to still be somewhat long, the quality is still top notch. overall, it's a. enjoyable experience and comfortable spot to eat and chat. there aren't many servers/wait staff, so if you're okay with a slower pace, this cafe is for you. looking forward to our next visit!
Been here a few times usually on weekends. More crowds on weekends so came on a weekday instead. Clean, bright modern and spacious café. Friendly and attentive staffs. Like the selections on the menu. Foods are tasty and well presented. Enjoyed their cappuccino & latte. Beautiful latte arts!! Parking in the small plaza can be problematic if come on weekends.
This is the best of Asian/American breakfast! Not only is the decor & the serving staff exceptional but the food is equally fabulous. Our waiter was friendly & explained the portion sizes for the dishes we were interested in to ensure we had an enjoyable experience. For those who are interested in the soufflé pancakes/jiggly pancakes, be advised it takes about 25-30 minutes so order it before you finish your meals. I had the smoked salmon eggs benedict & it was what I expected. Nothing super unique about it but a very well done meal nonetheless. Would recommend & will try to be back
The place still look decent several years after openings and the decor still look nice and not outdated. The presentation of the food is quite good. In terms of flavour of the food , it depends on the dish in my opinion. The crispy Brussels sprout is quite good, and the fluffy pan cakes are good also. The tornado eggs from the mushroom deluxe for some reasons lacks the egg flavour… feels like just eating yellow tasteless stuff… nothing stand out that would stick to my mind for recommendation particularly. It’s a good place to hang out with friends with stuff to munch on. The flat white is an ok cup. It’s acceptable quality.
Good quality fusion style restaurant with upscale decor. They changed cutlery and plates before dessert was served. Food was cooked very well. However there was a long wait time for the food, and food was quite pricey in comparison to other similar restaurants in the area.
This place was delicious. Service was not bad, friendly staff and food came out a bit longer than expected. Decor was beautiful, modern and simple. Food was delicious, that mushroom and egg tornado is a must try.
The Food here is consistent and delicious. The restaurant would receive 5 stars but the lack of a Liquor License, which is not a big deal for brunch, but it does mar the Dinner Experience. The restaurant is also not the cleanest, especially the washrooms.
This is my third visit at the restaurant and the quality of food has been consistent. I also work in the industry and noticed that the service was prompt and on point. I ordered a hot caramel macchiato, kale salad with steak and soufflé pancakes. Food was delicious with great presentation. The only thing was that the steak was undercooked- more of a rare than medium rare. I didn’t address it because I’m not too picky. Otherwise perfect.
A decently size cafe that also serves as a restaurant. This place gives off up-scale vibes from the decor and the plating of the food. However, the employees are more lax and make it feel too casual given the atmosphere. The matcha lava cake was pricey but tasty. I might return to try their full menu as I came during the dessert only time frame.
