Mr Big's came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. I ordered the large jerk chicken with rice and peas for $13 along with coleslaw, it was a great portion size. The chicken was the perfect level of spice, fall off the bone tender and super tasty. Loved the rice and peas too! They gave me extra gravy which was amazing. The lady at the front was really sweet and friendly. Food came out within a few minutes. The price was really good considering inflation these days!! Cant wait to go back and try the oxtail
Got the curry goat and oxtail from here, both with rice and coleslaw and everything was delicious. The meat was so flavourful and tender. There also was a substantial amount of meat, not just bones and fat. Great food!
Flavour is good, portion sizes and price are pretty good. The chicken did not taste fresh when I went. Overall the meal wasn’t terrible, but I would not go back again. The coleslaw was not sweet.
My 3rd time getting jerk chicken with rice and peas here. This time I got goat curry with rice and peas as well. This restaurant does not disappoint. The jerk chicken is to die for, it's so nice and spicy - that's really hard to find in that area even though there are a bunch of restaurants there. I was really happy with the goat curry as well. I was worried that it would be mostly bones but it was a good mix where I got plenty of meat in there with extra curry. I always get a large and get stuffed to the point that I can't move - love that feeling. I would recommend this place again and ask for extra curry for jerk and goat.
The food didn't meet my expectations. The jerk chicken was baked, not jerked. The fry chicken was saggy. I also had items missing from my order. I read the reviews prior to ordering, and they were good, so I was very excited to order. I was looking forward to enjoying the food, but honestly I did not.
First time eating from this restaurant. I am very picky and I don't eat out much because I feel that restaurant don't take the time to cook with love. However, Mr Biggs made my night. I had the curried goat with white rice and I had no problems with this meal. The spices, the tenderness of the goat, the fluffiness of the rice and the customer service all around was A+++++. Will definitely recommend to everyone I know
I travel all around the GTA for work, have tried over 50 Jerk spots in the last few years, forsure Mr.Bigs is the best in the GTA. Most consistent and the whole menu is great, doesn’t matter what you order it’s always amazing.
Great food and service! Their spicy jerk chicken and oxtail meals were delicious and will keep you coming back for more. Parking: Plenty of parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant.
Been coming to this establishment from time and I must say they have never ever fell short or let me down. This time I tried their Jerk Pork and they are now at the top of my list! Portland Jerk had my top vote for Jerk Pork but they just lost that title lol Always enjoying your food, keep up the great work!
Food is amazing -- I've tried a good part of the menu The Jerk chicken, Ox tail amazing. Highly recommend this place.Food: 5/5
