SHANDRA'S IS THE PLACE TO GO!! We were having a Christmas potluck and I wanted to bring a little bit of Jamaican to the table we got the goat roti and the curry chicken roti cut it up in a few pieces so everybody could have a bite. This was my first time ordering here and the atmosphere was amazing from the moment you walk in. This little restaurant is clean, open and welcoming! The customers waiting in line we're engaging in great conversation it's like family coming home to Auntie Shandra's to get some food to bring home. Everything tasted fresh and wonderful! I regret Not getting the black cake! NEXT TIME. Will definitely come back to try the other dishes the seating is comfortable bench style seats bring your family you won't be disappointed! Take out as fast!! if you're in a rush it's a great way to pick up something authentic hearty and made with love. Definitely will be coming back!!

They took 25 minutes to prepare my order. I ordered large jerk chicken with fried plantain. Plantain was so greasy and meal had only small portion of coleslaw. So disappointed for high price $22.

I will start by this: the food was AMAZING!!!! We ordered the chicken curry roti, goat curry roti and a side of rice. The goat and chicken melted in our mouths with a really nice flavor. I will say that the potatoes in the curry were a bit too mushy, as well as more dhalpuri mix in the roti itself. Use that pepper sauce lightly! There should also be an option for plain rice, since thats what we were hoping to get, instead of rice and peas : That being said, the pricing on the menu was outdated. As well, the term "roti" is pretty specific, since I assumed it would be like the general 'roti' which does not contain dhalpuri mix as that would be a dhalpuri itself. Not complaining because I got more than what I was expecting, and left very satiated :D

Everytime I'm feeling like some Jerk Chicken, this is my go to place! I usually order the Rice, Peas, Jerk Chicken + Oxtail to get some variety. The plate is always bang on. What really sets this place apart from other Jerk Chicken stores is their gravy! Their gravy is super flavourful and has a nice thickness. You're definitely getting what you pay for. I have yet to try their curry chicken or goat but that's up next! Would definitely come back and recommend this place to a friend

Excellent jerk chicken roti. Very distinct flavours in the chicken, fresh and herbal with a dark, lightly spicy sauce. Their hot sauce is fierce but really adds a necessary acidic bright layer to the otherwise rich food.Food: 5/5

Had a channa roti, and to be honest, I was not impressed. I think I had too little filling and a whole lotta roti shell. Also, the coleslaw is sweet, which is not something I was expecting. I’m sure there are great items on the menu though, and I would try it out again!

Bought a boneless goat and a boneless beef roti. Best roti! I always get Lena's but that is now a far second. Every bite had meat and no great over flap of dough it was perfect!

I found this place after a friend suggested it, and it's now one of my regular go-to for take out. The jerk chicken is tasty, love the coleslaw, tender goat roti and some of the best doubles I've had. Really good portions too. I'm really liking their food.Food: 5/5

I've been going to this joint for the past 4 years and it never disappoints! The rotis are tasty, fresh, and meaty - very, VERY filling. I always go for either the chicken or goat curry roti. The service is on and off so lately I've been opting for the rice and beans because they come out much faster. Boy do they get busy. Highly recommended for the portions and the taste!!! Can't be compared to the other roti shops!
