I will never have enough good things to say about this campground. We have come two years in a row now and it will now become a yearly summer trip. Everyone is so friendly, there are tons of activities to do. So family friendly with plenty for the kids and adults to do, but quiet at the same time. Overall a great place to visit.
100/100 for the location. Great escape from the city rush. One of the best places to unwind and unplug.nRooms were clean and had all the pots and pan.. this is camping redefined. I think they are spoiling me..I already booked my 2026 vacation before leaving the place.
We booked this campsite out of convenience to hike the Bruce Trail. We both ended up loving this summer place on Gillies Lake. There is a tuck shop, games room, playground, lake, marina, shallow swimming, inflatable water trampoline, swing and obstacle course. It’s simply a pleasant and happy place to be.nnAnd we saw a black bear here.
It was a great place for our stay. We were 5 people staying in a trailer accommodating 6 people max. Weekdays prices were good. Had most of the facilities and amenities needed for our stay. Bug sprays, fire wood, complimentary butane bbq and bunch of different amenities. Host was available whenever we needed anything. Kayaks and canoes were available for rent. Easy and fluent communication. Obviously recommended!!!nSafe trip folks!
My bf and I went for a quick wkd getaway, we loved everyone there, who helped us out a lot, we were a bit of a hot mess, with our car battery dying and accidentally locking us out. Jessica, Jim, Jenny, and Mike were amazing. Big ty to Jessica who really stayed with us making sure we got out in 1 piece. The showers are so good and clean. Anyone who wants a place near Tobermory but away from the big provincial parks... This is the place to be. We are telling all our friends and family about this place. Love it. Safe and sound.
