Motel Ideal

I stayed for two nights on a business trip and had a very comfortable experience. Staff very friendly, the room and washroom were recently renovated, which made the stay feel fresh and modern. Parking was extremely easy, which I really appreciated after long work days.nnBreakfast starts at 7:00 AM — I personally wished it began a little earlier, but the quality was ok. The only thing I didn’t love was that the bed came with two very small pillows, which weren’t the most convenient.nnAside from that, the location is excellent. It’s very close to great restaurants and the Metro, making it easy to get around.nnOverall, a solid stay and great value. I would definitely return.

Wendy at the front desk is an absolute sweetheart always smiling, professional, and providing such a warm, welcoming presence. She truly makes guests feel comfortable.nnUnfortunately, my experience with the younger receptionist was very different. She came across as rushed and not very polite when I asked a question, her responses felt abrupt and she turned away quickly with little eye contact. Which made me neevous to ask again when I couldn’t find what I had asked for . A bit more courtesy and engagement would greatly improve the guest experience.

I am staying in the older building of the Ramada, and since 9:00 a.m. this morning, the garage below has been extremely noisy with cars revving, which woke me up.nnI planned to include a short video of my room to show the situation. While speaking with the male receptionist about it, I used a swear word out of frustration not directed at him in any way. He responded by telling me that I “don’t need to swear,” and that he doesn’t need to see the video, as if I had insulted him.nnI found this response rude and unprofessional, especially given that I was already dealing with significant noise disturbance. This is not an appropriate way to speak to a guest who is simply expressing frustration about being woken up early.nnThe noise issue combined with the lack of customer service was disappointing.

Absolutely Disgusting Experience – Avoid at All CostsnThis was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Upon arrival, we found a used condom in the toilet and the bed covers had clearly just been arranged, not cleaned. When we removed the covers to keep our toddler we found hair strands and other signs that the bedding hadn’t been changed. The carpets were visibly dirty, and the room was generally unclean.nnWe immediately contacted reception and reported the condition of the room. It took nearly 30 minutes for room service to arrive and clean. During that time, we couldn’t rest, unpack, or even freshen up after a long journey. Despite our complaint, the hotel refused to provide us with a different room.nnThis level of hygiene is completely unacceptable, especially for families with young children. I would strongly advise against staying here. Absolutely disgusting and disappointing.

Beautiful rooms and clean. Best night sleep i had. Breakfast was good.
