Motel 6 Redmond

We stayed here for a quick overnight stay after flying into Redmond to explore Central Oregon. The hotel was (very) close to the airport, easy to find and in a good location (close to stores, restaurants, gas, etc). Staff was super friendly and the hotel was clean. I'd definitely stay here again if in the area! (As an added bonus for those needing pet-friendly accommodations, there is no additional charge; they just want to know so they can accommodate those with pet-allergies! It seems like a minor detail, but I appreciate their awareness!)

The location was great. The room was very nice. The only minor problem was the handle broke in the shower. We were offered a different room, but with the fullness of the motel we chose to stay in our room assigned. They gave us a discount it was very gracious and very much appreciated. The staff was wonderful and very nice. We will stay there again when we are in that area!!

The room was clean and nice. The only complaint I had was that the guy at the desk made checking in a bit difficult. For whatever reason your system would not scan my driver's license and he acted like we would not be able to get the room. He ended up using my husband's, but I wonder the outcome had he not been there to use his... Maybe on busy weekends like this one there needs to be a faster, more knowledgeable person running the front desk.

I know all about handicap accessible rooms. I was not only on the joint task force for the USDA Forest Service when the ADA laws were first going into effect. My wife and I also owned and managed s small motel in Haines, Alaska. The room we had stayed in goes a very long way of providing the same amount of care and comfort that I am sure your other guests are obtaining. We will see if the next time is the same. If it is the same it will be our last visit with you. Also, the T.V. remote did not work properly and front desk clerk could not fix it. We had to use the T.V. volume at a high volume or not at all.

IMO, the best deal in the Bend/Redmond area. Hotel is clean and the rooms are relatively fresh. No major problems- just one cigarette burn on the bedspread- definitely seen worse. Weird thing where one of the fire escapes was blocked off by Duct-Tape on all floors. Could have easily gone through in an emergency, but some note explaining what was going on would have been nice. Still- no regrets.
