Motel 6 Milwaukee West - Brookfield

Smoke alarm was triggered by warm moist air from shower would not shut off until I disconnected the battery. Third shift staff was not available or concerned. I tried calling on the phone and let it ring for over 20 minutes. Had to go down to the office and was told by the security guard sitting around in the back room that he had no clue where the attendant was. Finally the desk attendant appeared and told me he was busy with another customer and continues to put pillows in pillow cases while I asked for a new room that had a properly functioning smoke alarm. Sent me to a new room which smelled of residual smoke from a previous customer. Again I had to back down to the office and challenge the attendant foe another room. He had a very carefree attitude and actually asked the rent a cop if he should find me another room. The Security guard nodded yes and finally I received a proper room.

I stay two nights here and it was wonderful! Great rooms and awesome customer service. They even helped me bring my bags to my room. It was really clean and quiet. I will definitely be spending more nights here in the near future.

I have stayed at this place many times over the past 4 to 5 years. It never gets better. This visit will be MY LAST. The stayed for 4 nights. The first night, the bed was so saggy, I requested a new room. They were nice enough to do that. The second room, I sat down on the bed and the bed frame broke. Looked like it was an issue prior to me getting there. So they gave me a third room. The bed was much better. But the shower was a disaster. The pull up valve on the spout was in the up position and wouldn't move. So, if you wanted to take a bath, you were out of luck. Now lets talk about housekeeping. It has always sucked at this place and still does. Day 1 in the first room with the saggy bed. They were a NO show. Next room, no housekeeping service on day 2. So I take my garbage and used towels to the front desk. The guy there didn't even want to touch the garbage bag. It was pretty funny, but I was not happy. I needed new towels and toilet paper. At least he was nice enough to give me those. Wifi. LOL!!!! Why do they even think they can sell it, I DO NOT know. It worked very badly. So basically I have given up on this location. I will never stay there again. EVER!!!

Our stay was quite the experience. I nearly slipped and fell in the tub due to the fact that the tub is not draining properly. I called and spoke with somebody at the front desk and was told that a maintenance man would be returning to unplug the tub. The maintenance man arrived at our room 248 at 8:40 PM pounding on the door requesting to come in. At that time my boyfriend was taking a shower and I had no idea that this maintenance person was coming to our room nor that there was an issue below us. At this time I took it vantage and I asked the maintenance man if he ever came to unplug the tub and I was told by the maintenance man who is working three hours past your shift but he was never informed of a need for maintenance in the bathtub of room 248. I spoke to the manager and Sunday morning before our departure and unfortunately not effort was made to ensure that I would be returning-I was offered a meager apology. I also noticed that even though I spoke with the manager no notes were taken no information was collected for me to reach out to me any further to ensure that I would be returning or that I would give some kind of positive feedback with my experience by offering an opportunity for another hotel stay. I informed the manager about the tub and the fact that our room was never cleaned Saturday morning- I was only told that the hotel was booked full and that was the reason why our room was never cleaned.

I had a good stay. I used the motel only for sleeping and showering. I requested a refrigerator in the comments on my online request because I was planning to eat breakfast at the motel, but there was none in my room. I have had one on past visits. I complained about the faucet in my bathroom spraying the water out and all over anything that was in front of it rather than pouring out of the faucet. Nothing was done about this during my whole stay. I am sure anyone else using my room would have had the same complaint. Other than that I had no complaints.
