Motel 6 Milford Ct

The room was a little smoky smelling, but being as we weren't spending much time there we didn't bother switching rooms. I did mention it to front desk to make sure it was noted and we would not get blamed. Check in was fast, room was clean, a few things in the room looked a bit old and worn, towels were very scratchy. It was fine for our purposes, a one night stay after a concert, but you get what you pay for. The hotel may have had some more permanent residents on site which always changes the vibe of the place for temporary visitors.

Overall, loved the hotel and the staff! BUT, one of the rooms I had obviously had a smoker in it before us (non-smoking hotel). The other room we had was excellent though! The other improvement that can EASILY be made is to have more plugs available at the bedside stand... I had to unplug the lights to plug in my iPhone!

Pleasantly surprised by Motel6 in Milford. Fridge and microwave in the room, good (but rather short) beds, complementary tea and coffee. Lots of parking space. Only the location is sub-optimal between highway 95 and the railroad, but it did not disturb US.

The room was a little below average. One of the lamps did not work and it smelled musty like it used to be a smoking room. The staff was good but the facility could be a little cleaner. I've stayed at nicer hotels/rooms for less.

Very nice place to stay. Hotel staff very friendly. Room was clean with clean and neat when I arrived. Surprised they had a pool in the back of hotel. Kept clean and was always ready to use. Had soda machine on 1st and 4th floor and a snack machine on 1st floor. Free coffee every morning. Letdown was no breakfast, but very close to Post Road.
