Baymont Inn & Suites Branford/New Haven

Rooms were pleasant smelling and felt really clean. Shower has 2 shower heads, which is amazing. Pool is small, but nice and warm. Front desk was really nice. No reason for anything but 5 stars.

Entire place smells like cigarettes and curry. Newly renovated but you can tell they tried to cover things up. Convenient location and cheap. Trucker hotel mostly. Pool is small but actually very clean.

Terrible.. The tub backed up and sitting on the edge of the bed it broke and almost flipped me over.. also there was food in the refrigerator and the AC was on or off could not adjust the temp. None of the outside doors locked at night so it felt a little unsafe. Some of the door were missing strike plates ( rm# 217) so the rooms felt unsecured.. Housekeeping was subpar at best.. stairway and hall way rugs looked like they were never vacuumed and some of the rooms rugs were the same.. Front desk staff were halfhearted with apologies and had very little power to do anything and no power to compensate customers.. I left my name and number at the front desk for the manager to call me.. Still waiting for a response..

Baymont Inn has a great staff, but the building is very old and in a poor state. Water in the pool is cloudy. The carpet is dirty and worn. The exterior doors are disabled from locking.

People were very nice, Love the fact that they have smoking rooms bed was great and love the location but I hated we had little ants and they need a face lift on the lamps,rug and bathroom .
