The staff were at best civil. It appears they were understaffed during our visit. A maid actually hid from us I think; we ran out of soap and even though she was two doors down, the front desk informed us we'd have to come to the lobby to pick it up ourselves. 
The Continental Breakfast was the highlight of the stay and that was just average, help yourself, fare.
It wasn't the worst place I've stayed by far, but they really need to keep more staff on & maybe provide better training in the customer service department

Adequate for the price.  The room was reasonably clean and quiet.  The lights and hot water worked.  I'm tired of people who pay cheap rates then birch about little things.  I will stay here again.

This hotel offers great value for a $100 + or - $20 per night hotel. I stayed here on my last trip to New Haven, and I will return in the future. The room was large and relatively clean.

Budget friendly accommodations. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a free shuttle service from the hotel to downtown which is very convenient. The room was clean. The price of the room is reasonable for so close to downtown. The facility is a little run down though.

Unsatisfied that we paid for a room with mini fridge and microwave in it and that it not what I received when we checked in... no compensation offered either
