Motel 6 Hartford - Windsor Locks

My husband and I stayed here for many many months. We loved almost all the staff. There was one front desk staff named Olga. She always had an attitude never wanted to do anything. So about a month after we left. I was in downtown Hartford, OLGA was stopped at a stop light, she rolled down her window and yelled out.. I SHOULD COME KICK YOUR ASS RIGHT NOW. Now in my opinion she is still representing motel 6. Also in my opinion, an employee shouldn't be upset with a customer because she is lazy and bad at her job. I WOULD LOVE TO SPEAK TO THE MOTEL 6 OWNER

The clerks who checked me in were friendly. The room was clean. The floor though was a bit sticky in places and I didn't want to take my socks off. For $62 I thought I had a good deal.

Very basic , no amenities other than towels and soap. No shampoo , etc You should know this before you get there. Cheap rate, no frills , good for an early flight .

All i needed was a bed and bathroom for a night before catching an early plane. Just perfect. Towel was small but everything was clean and the bed comfortable.

The staff is excellent: friendly, helpful, etc! I left my credit card in the chip reader because I had not heard the usual loud obnoxious sound to remove the card. Apparently, it does not make the same sound as in the grocery store. Anyhow, I received a call very shortly after that it was at the check in counter, found by another honest person checking in. I've never found an unfriendly staff person at any Motel 6. I do wish that the toilet bowls were a bit taller for us old folks!
