Motel 6 Detroit Northeast - Madison Heights

I gave it 4 stars mainly because I met the love of my life there. Staff was decent, they respected privacy, which is a good thing. There was a smell of bug spray in the office, which threw some red flags, but I haven't saw any bugs so that's a bonus. Rooms were pretty decent, some were smaller than others but can't be picky. They're a bit pricey for the quality, especially since they charge $20 per night for a fridge... And they also charge extra just to use the WiFi. Other than that, I was a decent experience. First time being in Michigan.

Nice spacious rooms with AC and TV for that price! The room wasn't dirty at all but the floor could have been cleaned a bit better. Very safe neighborhood close to mall and shops

The rooms have all been recently updated with new paint and fixtures all around. It's always a delight staying in my hometown on trips to the D, I would have paid $20 more for the room if there were a microwave and a fridge. I give 4 stars for the very nice room, would have been 5 if those things I mentioned were there. :)

The room was clean and tidy. We enjoyed our stay tho it was lacking in things like conditioner and towels. Liked for the price. Though i do believe that someone took an item of clothing i left behind. I called about 20 minites after i left to check and see if it had been left there and i was told no.... I have searched hogh and low and do no longer have this item.

Love the remodel. Havent been to this location in a couple years and was impressed with the new look. Room was very clean and our stay was comfortable.
