Pontiac Lake Motel

The only good thing good about this motel is the location to the lake. The owner Doc is a creep... looking... lurking.... NASTY MAN!!!!…. We were in a emergency situation... needed a place quickly....it was within walking distance to work. Also within walking distance to Walmart. The owner braggs about the many properties he owns in other states... does NOTHING to maintain the 8 cabin's and 7/8 motel rooms on the property. No air conditioning. Area flood's when it rains. He has a 20 something son that throws beach parties at the lake...30/40 boats at the lake...30+ car's in the courtyard... tents for food... music and alcohol. Owner claims he knew nothing until the White Lake Police woke him at 3a. Paying guests tried to call him...he NEVER answers. Try anywhere else... the Travellodge... the Quality Inn.... both much better and cheaper in price. The water looks clear... the sink and toilet is copper colored from the rust. Your scalp gets copper colored from taking a shower and washing your hair... my dish cloth was white and new... after a day it was copperj penny colored. Would never cook or drink the water. When you pay to stay here... the owner Doc thinks he has the right to tell you who can visit you... he doesn't like many people.... BEWARE... BEWARE....

DO NOT RENT HERE. THE ROOM/ CABIN IS NOT WORTH IT. NOT CLEAN, FRONT DESK DOES NOT SUPPLY TOILETRIES OR CLEAN FURNITURE ETC. LOOK AT THE VIDEO I WAS SCARED TO SLEEP HERE LET ALONE LEAVE MY PROPERTY UNATTENDED. TV DIDN'T WORK, HOLES IN WALLS JUST SAD AND UNPROFESSIONAL

This place is horrible guy scams by keeping his rooms a mess so people get one then leave not wanting to stay there. Pay first before you see the room cos there is no refund

The rooms are incredibly disgusting the one that runs at his name is doc and he is a complete mean rude disgusting person. He walks in rooms unannounced, doesn't maintenance anything the right way, no water pressure, mad roaches and then when you tell him he blames you, raises rent when he feels like it, goes through your things, black mold, people constantly getting sick, poisoned my dog.... Etc... So so much bad....

When I stayed therenNo smoke detectors or fire extinguisher for room safety.nNo prior emergency or evacuation map or plan listed inside motel room..nTerrible room conditionsnForced to breathe in cigarette smoke when I already have breathing issuesnno furnace filter to filter the air causing breathing problems which would be hotel motel owner responsibility to have safe breathing conditions.nTerrible and sometimes no water pressure or even no water at all.nTerrible. very unsafe conditions around Motel mostly parking lot no plow or salting or even leveling out rocks for safety.nAbsolutely unacceptable that people that pay money every week to live here that have jobs ..during the summer countless times being interrupted or disturbed because the owner's son decided to have a party down by the lake attracting more than 100 people with loud rude obnoxious kids screaming fighting and throwing beer bottles and cans everywhere being disrespectful. That is absolutely unacceptable the people living there were forced to just deal with it. as any time if the police were called and would show up the owner would hide in his little house.nThe vast majority of people living there were either Parolees convicts people on the Run or gigantic drug addicts. You've been warned I guarantee if you stay there you'll want your money back good luck
