Montrose Food Mart & Deli

We used Montrose Deli catering for our appetizer and sweets table at our wedding this past July. We worked with Ania, who went above and beyond to make sure everything looked beautiful and tasted delicious. We got constant comments from our guests all night long, and still do to this day. I would recommend Montrose Deli for your catering needs. Their food is fresh and high quality, and they make sure the presentation is great, too.

My husband and I catered from Montrose Deli for our Chicago wedding in August. THEY WERE FANTASTIC! The food was phenomenal - we received so many compliments from our guests. The servers were incredibly professional, efficient, and polite throughout the entire evening. Anna was very helpful and kind during the planning process and made sure we had everything we wanted for the big day. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to serve Polish food at their event!

Ania and her team are AMAZING!!! We had Montrose cater for my sister's wedding, and it was flawless!!! We had the Highlander Hut, which was a statement piece and way too many appetizers to count, and the sweet table was beautifully displayed with such a variety we didn't know where to start. We ended the night with an evening snack of pierogi, krokiety, and barszcz, which was a BIG hit. Highly recommended for any event, big or small!!!!!!!

We as previous co-workers always had a sweet tooth for montrose food mart and their fantastic food. We had ordered their Chatka Goralska for our wedding reception and wedding bread and pastry and sandwich plates for our bridal party. Everything was perfect from pickup/delivery to set up to the plethora of compliments we received from all our guests from various nationalities. A+ service. A+ food and A+ appearance. The CATERING IS AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!!!! I cannot stress enough how incredible of a job Anna and her team did at our corporate event last night!!!! I could not be more pleased with their amazing display of the cold appetizer buffet, as well as the dessert buffet!!!! We also had three different types of pierogi spinach, potato and cheese, sauerkraut and mushroom and croquettes krokiety. We had about 160 people and everyone was incredibly impressed with the presentation and how good everything tasted! The attention to detail was incredible and each plate had a beautiful garnish! I would call it a work of art! The cooked shrimp on ice bowl, was a huge hit! We also had the catering service, which included two catering attendants to make sure everything looked nice and tidy. They threw away used plates and kept adding more food to the buffet. It is definitely worth it to include this service! They were dressed in very nice catering uniforms, including bow ties, which added an extra level of professionalism and ambience! I will recommend them to all of my friends and will absolutely use them again in the future!

Loved the store, authentic and loads of Polish products! The store is well organized, clean and bright! Staff there are very polite and friendly, it really felt like I was in Poland at one point! We walked away very very happy! Can’t wait to come back again!

Montrose Deli Catering did an amazing job catering my wedding during coronavirus on Sept 2020 at Loft Lucia, Chicago. I had been planning this event for over 12 months and met with Ms. Anna to go over the menu, set up details, and more. She was extremely knowledgable and helpful in making my wedding a smooth event. Additionally, she was responsive special asks I had for my wedding menu for example, the Chef created a custom arugula salad based on our preferences. When the wedding finally took place, Ms. Anna & her catering crew did a fantastic job setting up the tablescape plates, silverware, glassware, buffet set-up, as well as creating a beautiful charcuterie table. Her staff also took all necessary precautions needed during the pandemic masks, hand sanitizer, gloves, making sure guest didn't touch serving utensils, etc. The set up of everything was beautiful, the food was delicious, and I could not be happy with how everything came out!! Thank you for everything!

Totally enjoyed my very first visit to Montrose Market and loved the wide variety of foods plus the courteous customer service despite my not being fluent in speaking Polish.

I've been coming here ever since the Wally's days! I go straight for the flaxseed bread, the sausage and cheese ends that are packaged & the exotic Coffee! If you could find me better food for $4 a plate hot all the way in the back then shame on me. This place is a hidden gem and I tell everybody about it!

I am so impressed with Montrose Food Mart. They offer a great selection of fresh produce, liquor selection and their customer service is top-notch. They have the best quality of products and at a reasonable price.
