The Original Nottoli & Son

Nottoli's Italian sub might not look like much from the outside, but then you peel it open you got homemade salami, prosciutto, capicola, mortadella and provolone. Absolutely fantastic sandwich - why anybody in the area would ever go to Subway is beyond me.

This Italian deli has been around for 4 generations, Vito "2 Fingers" Fontaine the Famous Wrestler now runs it for his family. We got the 12 inch Italian Beef along with the 12 in Pot Roast & lordy are they full of meat. Also, had to have a pound of their Vodka Rigatoni that was so darn delicious If you have never been to this marvelous Italian Deli you need to make sure you go at least once, you'll come back for sure.

First time here. A good friend told me about this place and I must say "EVERYTHING " I bought it was wonderfully prepared and fresh. Waiting til Wednesday to purchase more items. Service was great, store very clean , food was wonderful. The Canolli cake and Canolli cup cake were so yummy. Thank you, Mrs and Mr. Greco for telling about Notolli.

Tiny but mighty! Its a small store but everything is absolutely delicious. I dont go often so when I do I stock up. Italian sausage is delicious. Tastes best when cooked on the grill.Food: 5/5

They might have the best Italian sub in North America. Everything else is mind-blowing as well. On top of it all, everyone is super nice and welcoming.

One of the absolute best sandwich shops in Chicago. The Food Network or the Cooking Channel should be showcasing Nottoli's weekly. Bar none the most authentic and delicious Italian beefs available to taste. Not only that Nottoli himself - third generation came out to take a picture and discuss the history. Outstanding, terrific, delicious.

My local sub shop recently closed, so I’m glad I found a new one just a few blocks away. It was my first time at Nottoli & Sons and it wont be my last. Great chicken parm on ciabatta bread; Italian sub was great! There was also a variety of cooking ingredients as well as prepared dishes both fresh & frozen, all of which looked delicious. I will definitely have to give those a try some day. Bring cash to save you a credit card fee.

Pass by this place on my commute home. Our first time visiting was on a Saturday. We ordered two sand- wiches for lunch, pot roast and meat loaf. Both were delicious. Pot roast gets a slight edge because I swear it was a pound of wonderful slow cooked beef. Tip #1. Please follow the arrows on the floor. That way you go with the flow and see everything they have to offer before placing your order. Tip #2. There's a pick up window to the left of the door. Place an order ahead of time and get your order without going inside.
